    Right.

But you have previously said there should be no restriction on the right to purchase a weapon.

I have not been in the political forum in well over a year, since recently. Too bad real politicians cannot discuss politics and try to learn from each other as we do in this forum. I actually try to learn from opposite views. Unlike real politicians that are in office as I type. All politicians have already made up their minds before anyone even speaks on a particular issue.

I have family members that are currently on food stamps and government health care. And yes, you do need an ID, birth certificate, and social security card. They even take a picture and make you give your fingerprints, and prove where you currently live.

I like the idea of making it digital and using fingerprints as a form of ID. I have liberal views but the idea that the poor cannot obtain a valid ID for 20 bucks is crazy. I have a library card and you need to prove who you are. Buying beer or getting into a club, I need an ID.

Getting a job, applying for a job, and even going to the hospital, requires ID. I understand that some people cannot afford the 20 bucks, which sounds crazy, in this day and age, but there has to be a charity or voucher program to fix this. I can see both sides of the spectrum but it is 2012 and there has to be change in order to prevent any more voter fraud. Even though as KOAJ says …if voting actually changed anything, they would have taken that right away a long time ago.

    You need an ID to:

    Buy alcohol
    Buy tobacco products
Go see a rated R Movie
    Get a job

When these people registered to vote how did they do so w/o an ID

That's a good question. Is it even possible to register to vote without an ID? I know for sure in texas you must possess a social security card and a way to prove your identity.

Holder's DOJ implements critical race theory in Texas

So why is the Holder DOJ so intent on stopping Texas’ voter ID requirement? Because the Holder DOJ is dominated by a soft variant of the philosophy of critical race theory. The DOJ contention goes something like this: a law must be racist if it has varying impact on different classes of people. It must be designed to uphold the white supremacist hierarchy. Thus, even a law of neutral applicability – meaning a law that applies equally to everyone, like showing your ID to vote – becomes a racist measure. The system itself is corrupted, even though the law is clearly not racist on its face.

I can't even believe we are discussing this.  Voter fraud should be fixed whether you are on the right or the left.

i don't remember, but i think i asked mikael a trivia question and the reward was that he could have my wife's vote in the 2012 election.  so for all of you who say mikael's opinion isn't as important because he's from denmark, mikael is voting in this election just like everyone else.
