Look at this article and check out some wild swings of odds of the Wisconsin primary.

We bettors know how it goes with wild swings of odds like that -- insider shiat, for sure.

I wonder if anyone here in this forum may know something about this, or someone who may know?

not that big of a deal.  i've been checking the politics odds and making bets the whole way and big moves are the norm. 

but, if you want to know why the odds moved in cruz's favor today, a new poll came out.

also, trump keeps talking.


i was able to get cruz at -247, but i doubt that's still available.

Same poll has Sanders 49%, Clinton 45%.

This is a must win for Cruz...if he doesn't bag all the delegates it will be next to impossible for him....do or die

i've been riding 538's interpretation of these polls and they have been doing very well.  you have to be quick though because the lines move fast.  anyway, that is the answer to mozart's question.

Donald Trump and Ted Cruz are headed to a photo finish in Wisconsin next Tuesday according to the latest poll numbers, which show Cruz ahead Trump by just a single percentage point.

Public Policy Polling, a left-leaning firm,( predicted the 2012 presidential election correctly) surveyed likely voters in the Badger State and found Cruz leading the Republican primary contest with 38 %, compared with Trump's 37%.

Why the dramatically different results ?     Sample sizes: Marquette's pollsters interviewed 471 likely Republican primary voters, while Public Policy Polling surveyed 768.

As I've said before, Trump wants no part of the presidency. Know it sounds nuts, but he doesn't want the job. Just to see how much support he could generate espousing his shallow views/understanding with his strong bombastic personality. 

Now that it looks like he should win, he's doing/saying all he can (while still having to look like he's trying to win) to sabotage his nomination. He's not stupid & noone with his kind of lead would be saying the things he is. He can't afford to win Wisconsin & knows it. Like I said, he's the worst kind of fraud. Hell, all things being equal, he wouldn't even vote for himself. But he wants to play the victim & say how he should have won when it falls apart at the convention. Just wait & see..

Trump has done an epic troll job on the mindless GOP base that has no clue or identity.  Trump simply cashed in on the opportunity with foxnews and the talking heads prescribing the lemmings talking points for selected outrage.   

Trump now stands as a litmus test for the lemmings so consumed and confused with left/right, Liberal/conservative.  You see them on here, the really sad ones that can't get past the paradigm and drone on endlessly with post after post and thread after thread  about the other side being the problem.

For Trump, it's been a serious lark & major prideful/ego boost to gain this kind of support/power at the perfect & only time he could have this kind of success. Was a win/win for him in every way & doubt that even he thought he'd be in this position now. But he's made sure he won't win Wisky & was a joke as a serious prez candidate from the beginning. Still, will be interesting to see how it plays out.

new poll shows cruz +10 in WI. 


it is a foxnews poll so that probably means trump will win by a landslide but 538 seems to like it so who am i to argue?

for the record, i'd take trump over cruz any day but i bet cruz in WI so that's who i'm rooting for.
