Well, I live in Ohio, and as far as "The Man" winning, all the fiscal issues that existed before this still exists. This law, like the one in Wisconsin, would start to change things around so the funding actually came from the unions (15%) for pensions and healthcare instead of other the private sector footing the bill – to restore the coffers that have been raided. The fiscal issues are really the heart of this.
Each municipality only has so much money and all the shortfalls are apparent - . Repealing this bill doesn’t change that fact. Here is what you will see next: Public Union workers will begin to be laid off because of the money shortfalls each city will encounter - here comes another round of the lunatics screaming ”raise my taxes” . Well played unions, you just shot yourself in the foot.
They can’t have it both ways – they cannot run a massive deficit, not contribute to the funding, and still keep everyone employed. Where does the money come from? Oh that’s right, massive tax increases in a state that is already one of the most decimated in the country by unemployment.
That sucking sound you hear are all the private taxpayers moving out of Ohio…..or rather the ones that are left.
FYI, every other issues on the ballots around the state for tax increases (education, roads, etc) failed.

People vote for their own interests. It is clear that it is easier to motivate and mobilize a group (the unions) to get out and vote for their own best interests over that of the taxpayer, (who likely didn't even know there was a vote).

Kasich said to the local governments that the people
have spoken and the politicians on the local level are going to have to
deal with these fiscal isssues on your own and they will have to do this without state financial help. That clearly means layoffs.
Also, Obamacare was defeated by the vote as well, so even the unions are not behind it anymore.

Mikael99 you should read more about this. While these supporters are beating their chests in victory today after gaining 60% of the vote to repeal this, they won't mention that there is no money and they VOTED DOWN 90% of the levys that would have made the money available to the teachers and municipalities involved. Not to worry though come next year they will come with their hand out. For the record I read alot about this bill and was not in support of it. I also read statements of the constructor of the bill and from a union rep. The constructor stated union officials stated they would kill the entire bill and make no concessions. Not wanting to believe one side of the story, after reading the statement from the union rep that was confirmed. They would make no concession and no comprimise.

Even rank-and-file Republican voters have rejected some of the most extreme Republican laws in yesterday's elections. A clearly chastened Ohio Gov. John Kasich, ringleader for the extreme ALEC agenda, had to concede defeat as Senate Bill 5, legislation to decimate collective bargaining by state employees, went down in flames.
In the state of Mississippi, voters decided zygotes did not meet the legal definition of personhood -- or even corporations. (Helped along by the fact that even Haley Barbour said the wording was too vague, so it may resurface.)
In Maine, voters retained same-day voter registration, despite attempts to repeal it by their Tea party governor and his minions.
Democrats took just about every position that wasn't nailed down in Connecticut municipal elections.
Iowa Dems held the State Senate tonight, which means marriage equality in Iowa is safe.
Arizona recall voters took down wingnut Senate President Russell Pearce.
Democratic Gov. Steve Beshear of Kentucky takes a second term.
The anti-teacher Michigan Republican State Rep. Paul Scott is successfully recalled.
All all, it was a very good night for Democrats

not starting drama, merely pointing out how your statement that you dont chastise kroger for copy and pasting is wrong, and how if you are going to chastise 1 person for copy and pasting, you should chastise all who do.
i love it how when you, wallstreet, stiln, cd329..., get called out for being wrong or hypocrisy, you attack instead of rectify the erroneous statement.
why is it hard for you to say something like this "yes, i do say that kroger copies and pastes articles"
