As long as the Fed is printing money, the stocks will soar. The only folks in the market are the rich. Average folks like us are still in a recessionary economy.

isn't this in direct contrast to your "Barack Obama says top 1 percent saw incomes quadruple, while typical family saw theirs barely budge" post on 7/28???

and then when the oppositional view chimes in you cry 'they're all coming into the thread to bother me waaahhhh'

you are the al Sharpton of the political forum mr 'neutral'

    Who is me neutral?

It was a tough go off it during your time in the box were you got humiliated and exposed by both members and linesmen...

I'm thinking it only proves the point that the GOP have been trying to sell with trickle down that if the rich do well, the economy does also...

Not sure the GOP should even be considered a party anymore. Just splintered off factions of idealistic hope & yesteryear which was never possible or exemplified by their leaders anyway. At least not in my lifetime. Yes, Obama & the dems have gone a bit too far left imo & in too many areas, but in general the Repubs & their leaders are a joke & abomination.

I will say no and ask you what you consider a successful economy.

the stock market is important but I would also lump in there:

Public sector jobs gained or lost

    inflation

    public confidence

    Wage gain / loss

    Cost of living

that would be my criteria and I probably am forgetting a few

Stiln, what parameters do you look at when gauging how well the economy is doing ?

Obama ranks right with Fidel Castro as ranked Economists.

Obama brings his community organizing experience to bear on foreign policy and domestic economy.

If Obama had his way we would all be working for government and there would be no unemployment (and no private sector).

So  in other words: You can't say anything positive about Obama so you'll call his opposition names.

Anyway, this article is laughable (and why it was re-posted from May is unclear since we already had a thread on this) considering:

    1. There were more people working in America at the height of the 1982 recession than there are today.

    2. Median family income had declined nearly 5% over Obama's first term.

    3. There are record numbers of people on food stamps and SSDI

    4. This is the worst economic "recovery" in modern history.

Health insurance rates in Florida will rise by 5 to 20 percent in the small-group market, and 30 to 40 percent in the individual market, as the Affordable Care Act’s guaranteed coverage rule takes effect next year, Florida’s insurance commissioner said Monday.

I'm sure that will help the economy.

Sign that the economy is going gang busters:

For Kevin Pace, the president’s health-care law could have meant better health insurance. Instead, it produced a pay cut.

Like many of his colleagues, the adjunct music professor at Northern Virginia Community College had managed to assemble a hefty course load despite his official status as a part-time employee. But his employer, the state, slashed his hours this spring to avoid a Jan. 1 requirement that all full-time workers for large employers be offered health insurance. The law defines “full time” as 30 hours a week or more.

We work so hard for so little pay,” he said. “You would think they would want to make an investment in society, pay the teachers back and give us health care.”

Maybe the bozo who wrote the "Obama can be the best!!!" article could go tell this guy he's confused and mistaken.

And yet not one shred of evidence supports any one of your single claims...

Notice you can't respond without calling names.

Want to guess why that is?

Hey, why don't you show everyone how smart you are and disprove any of my claims. Wouldn't that be exciting?

    Go ahead.
