How many years you've been here doesn't decided the level of intelligence you possess in regards to whatever sport we're talking about, but some vets around here think they're king shit just because they've been here longer.
You're letting haters and bashers change who you are here, and that's by far your biggest mistake. There's no one to blame there but yourself. It's your choice to constantly respond and think you're "owning" certain members, but you just look like a fool. You're fueling them by responding, you're playing into their game and giving them exactly what you want, I just don't get why?

It's best you two realize boom is just cocky and he doesn't give a fuck what we think, regardless if we're on his side and giving him a piece of friendly advice. He told me he "not in the mood" when I suggested he was cocky and not humble. Then, I told him he should sweeten the bet or make it interesting since he was SO confident they are going to get drug up and down the field and say they BOTH have to win. Rather than being civil and grown, he decided to call me a bitch and resort to name calling like he always does (although some deserve it). All of the comments from both of you hit the nail on the head. There's just some people who flat out don't give a fuck what you say to them, regardless when they know they're wrong (see post last weekend where he called sims an "idiot" when Sims, along with everyone else, WAS RIGHT. Rather than man up and say, ok I was wrong, it just became a "stupid"rule).
As far as Train saying you have to be this way or you'll be the "meek", I disagree. I've been on this site for 5 years, and never saw Big East Expert, Professional1, Bodio, Tree88, Phat03, or Silly be like this. And the sad thing is, they all can pick winners a helluva lot better than Train or Boom, yet they don't talk down and degrade people (again some people deserve it when they bash, but most people don't).
Regardless, Boom is gonna be Boom. Lets just leave it at that. I just gave him a piece of advice to be a little bit more humble and less cocky and you might not catch as much shit. I guess I'll just be a bitch too for asking him to "sweeten" or "even" the bet.
