Glad you are a closet psychic ('it was a bad call because people had money on the game' - I'm paraphrasing). I had no wager on the game and I don't give a shit about who wins as long as there are no egregious calls made to affect the outcome of said game. And that call absolutely affected the outcome of the game. If you don't think so, you know nothing about hockey.
It still doesn't come close to the amount of missed calls they had in previous games. You gonna tell me that the goal ovechekin got in game 2 or 3 where he pushed halak into the net wasnt an interference too? TOO many men penalties (20 of them). Clearly they are singling out calls they dont' normally make. The game was decided when capitals blew a 3-1 series lead and let the habs back into it. For the record if you were dumb enough to bet on the capitals when the odds were that bad you deserve to lose your money and you should check yourself into the next dr drew. Not taking the habs when you were almost getting 4-1 odds is just as stupid. I threw a bunch on the game just cause the payout made it all worth it.
WAY TO GO HABS .
Ovechekin go sign some autographs at the pro ams with Tiger.

So why the fuck is this kid bitching about watching piss poor hockey when his Bruins are still in the playoffs? That team's whole strategy is to lull the opponent to sleep and then attack.
I never said I liked that kind of style, you fucking douchenozzle - I may love the Bruins but I don't like their current style - but I still want them to win. At least I'm not a fucking homer who doesn't have any perspective and can actually admit that.
And yes, unfortunately we (as in the collective public ) will 'get' to watch a few more shitty Habs games. The Hockey Gods are a really @#$@# @#@# suckers sometimes.
P.S. incidentally, shove that replay up your CH logo. It was INCIDENTAL contact and didn't have any bearing on Halak getting beat - right, suddenly the guy who has been absolutely immovable on his skates and solid as a fucking rock gets knocked down by the velocity/force equivalent to a @#$@# feather grazing his pad. You are the biggest homer on this site (by the way, since you have such an intense love-in for your buddy Halak, why don't you get a @#$@ latex doll in his visage, so you can fondle it while watching your beloved shitty Habs play)
P.P.S you missed the point as always (for reference, it's on your head but I digress), that call is NOT MADE IN A GAME 7 when all the chips are on the line, I don't give a shit if there are 10,000 replays showing the incidental contact and even if the contact was actually even semi-legitimate. Then again, as I've already stated, you are a bigger Homer than Simpson)

Try learning to read, ass-hat and not come into the end of the conversation thinking you're a fucking intellectual colossus for pointing out the same shit that's been pointed out ad naseum earlier (and responded to several times) I already mentioned I didn't bet on the game and don't give a shit what happened in a Game 2 or 3 (where any bad call can easily be overcome by either team, given there are plenty of games left). An egregious game 7 call is 1000 times worse than 25 egregious calls in earlier games.

That was quite a one-sided slanted viewpoint. As someone said:
"the pens are the real # 1 seed in the east they coasted most of the year and they didnt have atl, t.b, car, and fla in their division wow it looks to me like wash was not really a #1 more of a joke if you ask me congratulations hab fans you definitely deserved it"
It has also been argued that the Habs final regular season points total is not really indicative of their worth. What other team, except perhaps the Wings, was as decimated by injuries?
As for defence, i'm sure you've heard the saying that defence wins championships. Or, in this case, a series.
Right you are ... most people fail to notice that the habs had more overtime games than other teams. They also led in PK for a while in the season. Anytime a team gets a loss in Overtime to me you have to view it as a win when looking at potential threats. If you do that the habs would of been sitting number 2 or 3 in the conference. Not to mention the caps were like 1-30 in the PP. I don't care how good your goalie is ,,, if you can't score on the power play in the playoffs? you arent going anywhere. Call it Halak all you want but Gill and Gorges had a ton of blocked shots themselves. Gill who did nothing alllllllll season long ended up being the reason their defense was so stellar. The other thing to consider is caps goaltending is not as good as most teams. Anytime a goalie only faces 20 shots in a game and lets in 2-3 goals , chances are that you need to get a better goalie.

BRUINS in 6! Bring us Pittsburg so we can really give Cooke what he deserves.................. I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't come because this time he has to stay here in Boston for at least 3 days.. We haven't forgotten that cheap fuck...........................

I guess Johnny is a homer to? TSN Panel all homers?
I posted a thread on another site asking opinions of fans from various teams, and the response was 50/50.
Just like I stated before, the call is 100% correct if applied according to the rule book. Is it called 100% of the time? no. It is based on the ref and the goalie's reaction. Halak fell on his ass to so it was called back.

Calm down there buddy.

Listen you little spermsuckingtwinkiefucker. I could give a rats ass on your little fudgepacking comments. Clearly you are pissy cause a team that you don't like just happened to get a call. god forbid that the Canadians actually got a call at a crucial time in game 7. Big fucking deal... Refs blow calls all the time. If you watched the replay then you should of had the sound on and you would of heard the announcer say that referees dont have the privelage of getting replay on a call like that. By the way the entire panel that night agreed with the call with the exception of bob mackenzie and to be honest with you hes just as much a habs hater as you are. You clearly are the most worked up individual on here and maybe you should stick to the BOOINS forum and talk with guys that are in as much dilusion thinking they are going past round 2. The comments on the betting werent directed to you they were directed to anyone in general who bet on the capitals getting 1.6 odds on the money. if you are going to rebuttal back now with your preschool name calling Im not interested in sitting here making you look like a joke all day. I make my living heckling people in the crowd so feel free to come get yours if you feel like having everyone on here laugh at you with all the crap I will routinely use on you as anyone else. Otherwise agree to disagree and know I wasnt trying to single you out I was making an opinion and that I am entitled to.

So, now you're the hockey version of Rasmussen/Zogby, hmm? lol. I'm sure the degree of accuracy in your 'little poll' (no pun intended ;) ) was akin to a blind squirrel picking lotto numbers by how bright a chestnut is. Sorry 50-50 doesn't cut it when it's a game 7 call - please look up cause and effect and get back to me and tell me that's not a HUGE emotional let-down and a momentum shifting moment in the most important game of the series (or wait, don't bother, there is just no point in arguing with you because you are a 100% biased homer)

RinkRat, yes, it seems like an obvious comparison to make given the fire power and regular season prowess/playoff futility of each of those teams... I'm not convinced the Sharks will truly be removing that monkey this season either...

lol@ fudgepacking comments (Freudian slip, perhaps?). Nice homocentric comment to add to a Hockey conversation . Go figure lol. Oh, and thank you SO much for warning me about your incredibly clever and caustic wit, which will surely have me crying in the corner shortly. Obviously, given you are a professional heckler of crowds (also known in layman's terms as a psychologically unstable homeless person on the street corner yelling random nonsensical shit to passersby ;) ) I should definitely be extremely concerned.
P.S. for the record, you were the one that made yourself look like a fool (and hence my comments) by coming in here and going to the last page and inserting your very important commentary before actually reading through the thread and noting that all those issues were already covered/addressed ad naseum - this would've saved you the embarrassment you're currently experiencing).
PPS - who's the one that needs anger management! don't pop a vein now (no, not THAT one, you disgusting pervert)

That call is made 9 out of 10 times this year. They protect the goalie as much as they do qaurterbacks these days. Washington didn't lose on 1 call they choked and also more importantly got out played by Canadiens. So if anyone wants to put blame some where take a look, Caps were up 3 games to 1 and had 2 cracks at it at home rink but couldn't get it done. So stop the whining about 1 call and give credit to Halek and the Habs for an incredable comeback!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For a guy that rags on others for not reading his posts you certainly don't do much of that yourself..we will agree to disagree. I am a homer and you are the all knowing prophet quasi. I will never argue without you again because I fear getting lambasted for poor spelling with colorful words and flowery metaphors. A rainbow of wisdom we are blessed to be provided with by quasi.

'spermsuckingtwinkiefucker' - gotta admit that was funny (although very worried as to how that became part of your personal vernacular).
One last thing, I already mentioned, although I am a huge Bruins fan, I don't like their current style of play (hopefully with Savard back they'll get rolling more on the offensive side). Still, that is the only way they can play at this time, as they simply don't have the super-stars/offensive stalwarts of other teams. So with that said, what's the fucking Hab's excuse? (seems like they have an abundance of goal-scorers/offensive (in more ways than one, by the way) types of players - yet they manage a total of 14 shots! now, THAT'S pathetic)

Yah, I know, edumacation is a good thang - try it some time. I realize it's the 'in' thing to be an illiterate moron these days, so props to you :) and pardon me (not really ;) ) if my language skills are above-average.
And for the record, I made one comment about your misspelling of 'ludicras'. It seems you are the one that wants to deflect away from the actual notable points towards that dynamic. Feel free to do so, it won't change the fact that you are a huge homer.
Cheers and have a super day!

The Brett Hull in the crease goal that won the Cup for Dallas against Buffalo in overtime was a way worse call than last night's. But that crease rule back then was pretty stupid too.
