If the Oilers prevail in game one tonight at home, it practically forces Florida to have to win game two. Losing both on the road to start the series, means the Panthers would have to win four of the next fives meetings against the Oilers, with three of those five games in Edmonton.
On the flipside, a Panther victory tonight in game one, puts the Oilers in an almost must-win scenario in game two at home. Losing both on home ice to start the series would mean serious trouble for the Oilers. Sure they rebounded from the 3-0 deficit a year ago but I think this is a stronger version of the Florida Panthers than last year's team.
I highly doubt this will happen but this series could very well end in five games, given the right bounces for one team.

I think tonight is especially important for Edmonton given how last year went. Down 3-0 before showing any sign of life.
Also think the Hyman injury is big at this point because of the depth Florida has. Advantage Florida as this series goes on. The oilers have the stars but the cats roll much deeper overall.
