I am hearing some of the players are very ill at this point and just hope and pray for them and their families. There is talk that they might not play another game this year? Not sure how the NHL will handle this if it happens but talks are ongoing. It blows my mind that so many still think this is a conspiracy. These are athletes that are in great shape and it's knocking the shitttt out of them. The ICU at the hospital I work at is full of patients on ventilators struggling for their lives. I just wish this crap would go away already.

How many of those are alcohol, distracted driving or just human error related? This is affecting innocent people. My friend caught it last year and used to walk 5k a day now she can't walk more than 20 steps without being out of breath. Another has no taste back after over a year.
Again I just hope and pray for the players and families of the Vancouver Canucks because this Brazilian variant has proven to be very harsh.

@thehuntman just curious which age group she is in if you dont mind sharing heard people talking about respiratory issues after recovering
Hey dubz she is 54 years old. An ICU nurse with a year to go before retirement just trying to save peoples lives. They figure they didn't have the proper PPE at the beginning of this and she caught it. Not only did covid affect her breathing it has done a number on her frame of mind going forward with regards to her retirement. They have no clue if she will ever be close to 100% again. That is unfortunately what people don't understand, it doesn't have to kill to affect people unlike a common flu. It can really hurt your lungs and it can happen to anyone who catches it. I have seen it first hand.

I work in a hospital and have lots of friends who work in different ones around the Toronto area who have seen it first hand. The ICU'S around here are jammed pack with patients on ventilators with covid. ICU's have always been busy in my 25 years in the medical industry but this last year has been beyond crazy. Cancer has been around for how long, not even a chance of figuring it out, ( but a tobacco product that causes cancer has, ohh yeaH, big brother making loads of money off of it, can ban that either). but a vaccine for covid in how long, oh yea, even if you get the vaccine, you still have a change of getting the virus, what? The flu has killed how many every years, but people have a choice to get vaccinated? you don't have to wear a mask, come on man!! If your 65-90, poor health and get the flu, or pneumonia, you have a poor outcome! but no mask mandate right? How many years have you been alive, that's right, its been around before you!! I didn’t buy it in 2020 April and after 12 months of data globally it confirms it...media can shock n awe and create any narrative to enhance your senses but at some point you gotta see through it...at this point you either see it or you don’t
