She can’t really identify anyone, even to the point she actually accused two players of having sex with her who were not even ever present in the room. She admits to wanting a night of wild sex when she went back to the room and took on the persona of a porn star while performing sexual acts with the boys, her own words. She admits that no one ever physically stopped her from leaving the room. From a legal perspective this is all pretty damaging, from inside the court room word is that she appears unconvincing and inconsistent on the stand.
No idea how it all went down as I like everyone else was not there but one thing that raised my eyebrow was that it was her mother not her that pushed everything. Being used as a gang bang toy in a hotel room is just not something a young woman is going to tell her mother she did willingly. Ofcourse they have video of her saying during the event that everything she is doing is consensual and of her own free will.
Im simply speaking in legal terms, all of this is pretty bad for her so far.

As a criminal attorney in the US (I am sure the law in Canada is very similar on this topic) if they didn't find drugs in her blood through the toxicology report her story has a lot of holes in it and it will be very hard to get convictions. Seems to me a little overzealous prosecutor at work. Of course, I worked many years a public defender, so I guess I see the other side of it. Interesting story though Polar_Bear. I wasn't following it, until now.

There have been other issues with hockey Canada mind you, specifically some bizarre hazing rituals, like some sick shit so probably all for the best with some changes.

There have been other issues with hockey Canada mind you, specifically some bizarre hazing rituals, like some sick shit so probably all for the best with some changes.
My youngest boy played in the USHL for a few years before going to college hockey. Sadly I am well aware of the bizarre hockey hazing traditions and circumstances that is supposed to be never discussed so I hear you. Luckily college seems to be more clean than Juniors and AAA.
