Hope the Leafs end his life today for the Knies and Stoarlz concussions. If this was 30 years ago he would sit out until the series was over for his own safety.

The sad thing is the nhl functions like a high school where being bullied means you either stand up for yourself and get punished by the school or do nothing and get bullied again. The best retaliation is winning, but that’s also something you don’t control.

That’s not just high school that’s life, you can run to the authorities and plead with them to take care of your problems for you if someone is bothering you or has done something to you, or you can deal with it yourself. That’s life.

My plan would be to go after guys like Reinhart, Barkov and Forsling. Hit them at any chance you get. Bennett is definitely a cheap shot artist but he is pretty tough at the same time. Don't take any stupid penalties against him trying to get revenge. Lastly get some traffic all around Bob and make his life difficult. Maybe a nice forearm to the back of his head.

I just don't think Leafs have a guy that would truck Bob other than Domi. I would love to see it, but it wont happen.
Someone's gotta just give it back to Bennett. Elbows up, aim for the head, and prepare for a penalty to be called. Used to be an every day part of the game, but not with the Charmin Generations that dominate the league...

If he was a Leaf, people would love him. He is a grinder. Does he play with an edge? Damn right. Ive seen worse/cheaper hits this past year that no one said anything about. It's freaking hockey, please don't soften it like football, basketball and baseball.
And I agree with D...if Leafs don't like it, send someone out to do something about it.

Nice hit by Laughton last night for a little right back at ya, leave it to a Flyer trained player to get that done for the Leafs.

LOL Nice try but I watched him play for the Oshawa Generals for three years when I had season tickets and that is where he learned his trade and took it to Philadelphia when he was drafted.
