Retail Sports Betting in Massachusetts

The first wave of legal sports betting began today Jan. 31 @ 10am ET!

3 casinos can now take event wagers from the general public on Tuesday, as Encore Boston Harbor (WynnBET) in Everett, BetMGM Springfield in Springfield, and Plainridge Park Casino (Barstool Sportsbook) in Plainville began accepting action.

Mobile and online sports betting will launch in Massachusetts in March, according to the Massachusetts Gaming Commission's (MGC) timeline.

Massachusetts Gaming Commission's Executive Director has proposed a tentative start date of March 10 for mobile and online sports betting. This date could change however if regulators or operators believe they won't be ready in time. But if they can be, Massachusetts will have online sports betting in time for this years March Madness tournament.
