Think my Canes are done tonight, but who knows.   Seems like that series is still a good Over bet, which is why the Canes won't advance most likely.  They are built for 2-1 or 3-2 type games.

Avs have been dominant for long periods in this series, yet sit at 1-2.  Really like this spot for them tonight.

Maybe a little.  They did close at -112 and -117 Game 1 and Game 2.  I see some places opened at -120.  Seems the books have not lost faith in the Canes.

 You're right, I had to double check the 1st two games but Canes down 3-1 back in NY you would have thought the Rangers would be favored by now in this potential closeout game. Makes me consider playing Carolina but haven't pulled the trigger yet but I'm on my 3rd beer so who knows???

Books set the line and the market dictates odds based on betting action - you would think a huge city like NY with lots of Homers would move this line in a Game 5 closeout...

I was on the Avs Game 3 and that still stings so not sure I can go there.  Tough to think the best home team this year will lose both home games so I think you are on the right side.  Good Luck!

Issue is Dallas is the best road team in the NHL, and their coach will have the Stars prepared.. Av's have got to find a way to get in front of the net + block Oettinger's view of the puck,> All I can say that's a challenge they will find very difficult. Chris Tanev will be ready to take on all incomers. Should be another good battle, but I give the edge to Dallas and their goaltender, he looks to be getting in a zone and has a solid .940 road save % this years playoffs on the road.
