Did the Blues have the worst choke job ever in a game 7

Up by two with under two minutes left and the Jets were missing two of their three best players. Unreal ending! 

Tough one for sure.  Give Jets a little credit, as they kept fighting and took control of that game in the 3rd.  But yeah, you can't go try and park the bus on a team that has lots of scoring options and just try to weather the storm of shots and tips - eventually one will go in.

Should be a good Round 2...

Similar to the Avs ending against the Stars. 

He gets a lot of shit talked about his play in playoffs and some it rightly so but Hellebuyck made two great saves in 3rd period to keep game in reach.  

Lucky tip? Nope

Winning goal was more "lucky" but the tieing goal was a nice play.

I told several friends that the Jets would win last night. Felt horrible late in the 3rd period because I knew they bet them and this game was over, Winnipeg needed a miracle. Still can't believe they won. Amazing finish, truly amazing then still had to fight through nearly 2 OTs for the win. Great game for Jets fans, absolutely heartbreaking for Blues fans, I do feel for them, they were on the way to Dallas, just snatched away at the last possible moment, wow.

Choke job....I don't think so. I said this last night & I'll say it again.

All 3 goals that the Jets scored were with a man advantage. A pp goal & pulling the goalie at the end for a '3 minute power play', in effect. It took until near the end of the 2nd OT to score on a deflected shot. It could be argued that they choked on offence during regulation. They couldn't get the job done without putting the Blues at a disadvantage. Also, to say they were down 'they're 2 best players' is a load of crap. May I offer up the Stars who were in the same boat & took care of business. The best team in the league took 7 games & double OT to finally beat the lowest ranked team to make the playoffs in the Western Conference. The Jets are going to have their issues with Dallas.

I had no skin in the game, no bets. I'm just an observer. I'm just watching to see how my VGK will do this year.

another person wrote about a game with a team (don't remember the series anymore) having a big lead and stepped on the breaks a few days before and said he doesn't like to see a team stop skating with a big or even comfortable lead. And he ist right. Blues had control and then suddenly stopped attacking. Chipped the pucks out of the zone and let the jets play believing nothing happens, cause they didn't get anything going. After 2-1 they again start playing, had everything under control, skated through the offensive zone so the jets didn´t even know where the puck is and scored again. But instead of learning from this situation, they again startet the 3rd period with an uninspired 1,5 minutes man advantage powerplay, skated around like training figure skaters looking for top choreography as if game's already finished, didn´t create a shot on goal or half a chance. Then again, they went deep in their zone, tried to chip the pucks out, let the clock run down and believe they get through with this. In addition, they didn't come even close to an empty net situation as they were not able to clear the puck in the last 3  minutes, which is a lot of time. That was pure energy by the jets and poor defense from blues. 

In the end, the blues defeated themselves

On the other side great times 2 come  as hellebuyck bashing can continue

I remember that one well unfortunately. Definitely right up near the top of the list.

My Leafs have struggled with the way Florida plays just like many teams do. I have a couple of small SGP going just for some action. 

Under 7.5....Leafs +2.5....Reinhart 1+ points....Matthews 1+point is +240.
