Canes this round

Best team thus far during the payoffs. Finishing last 2 rounds in 5 games each. Liking the Canes over Florida Rats. 

Canes have had the two easiest matchups in the entire playoffs. Game 1 looks like it could go their way because the cats have a quick turn around but Florida will take the series.

The Panthers worked hard to get out of that 2-0 series hole against the laughingstock Leafs. None of their last five games has been easy. They put tremendous effort into Games 5 and 7. Can they really keep it going in Raleigh tonight after just one day to recover from the suffocating blanket they threw on top of Toronto on Sunday night? That was a 60-minute drilling. It felt like they never eased up.

Canes win this series easily. 5 games. You’re way off base sea chicken. 

No way does Carolina take out the Panthers in 5 games and it won't be easy either. 

I talked myself into it. I’m betting that that awesome effort in Game 7 left the Panthers not fully charged for this series opener. I’m on the Hurricanes -125.

No it hasn’t. I won a lot in hockey this season (which is unusual). Perhaps record keeping of others isn’t your lane.

The Hurricanes in particular have been good to me this season. Last week’s Game 5 was a score. A goal with two minutes left to take the lead and then the empty netter with 26 seconds left to cash the beautiful -1.5 +180. I won’t be mad at the Hurricanes if they can’t win this one.
