That's exactly the type of coach they need!

The names being thrown out there are Tortorella, Babcock & Tocchet(which makes the most sense. Boudreau just got the Vancouver job

Lot of buzz right now that Rick Tocchet will be named next Flyers coach

I remember when the Flyers traded Tocchet, Samuelsson & Wregget to Pittsburgh for Mark Recchi

Also remember Operation Slapshot where Tocchet pleaded guilty to gambling charges in the early 2000's and received 2 years probation and was temporarily suspended from the NHL for less than a year. Tocchet was booking bets for mainly pro hockey personnel. Including Wayne Gretsky's wife ($500,000).Roenik was a huge client Tocchet and his NJ State police business partner took in over $2,000,000 on 2006 Superbowl alone.

I must be missing something since when did tocchet become scotty bowman. Dude has about a dozen games under his belt. ????

He has 438 games under his belt as a head coach. Not sure his toughness will rub off on the likes of Giroux, Van Riemsdick and Konecny and his 175lbs. Add in Atkinson at 175lbs and Farabee at 164lbs (what??) They have little or no toughness on the back end either minus Ristolainen.  Their division is made up of big talented teams so lots of work to be done whoever is named the coach.
