Upon the requests of many friends, I will begin posting my NFL picks weekly. I am by no means a professional handicapper, just an avid fan of the game.
This will be the first time I've documented my plays. To say the least, I do alright. I'm 10-3 so far to start the year.
Best of luck to everyone and lets have a great season.

Act like a tout and you'll get 10x more views... though winners produce about 100x views. 10-3 is good but likely to drop; posting is a curse because no one starts up when they're losing.

Welcome aboard and heed the advice of most of the posts so far in this thread. Anyone can sign up for a new name and get a catchy title...but true respect will come with posting your picks and reasoning every week and keeping an accurate record.

Looking into the lines for week 4, one early game that particularly stands out to me is the Cincinnati Bengals @ Cleveland Browns. A classic AFC North rivalry.
General perceptions will tell you that the Bengals should beat the Browns, they are of course the better team. But the odds makers seem to have their doubts with the Bengals, particularly Carson Palmer. He hasn't been playing well and quite honestly should've had 4 picks against Carolina last week. Credit goes to a tough defense that has kept them winning.
On the other hand, the Browns have been playing tough football, for at least 3 quarters or so and are about to welcome a division rival. They fared well against the Ravens and led in the second half at a tough Baltimore stadium. Who knows, had the couching staff decided to help out Eric Wright the game may have been even closer.
This seems like a perfect spot to fade the Bengals and to take the home dog. The line set at 3 seems to make me think the line makers are just waiting for Carson to lose the game. But being that I see this game getting played to the wire, I see this match up being one of the more physical games of the week, more so than the Steelers Ravens game imo. I expect defenses to dominate this battle and for that I'm leaning with the under 34.5.
Bengals 16 - Browns 13
Bol to everyone this week. For now a lean. (I don't place bets till Friday night)

It looks like you went 3-0 on your Thursday/Friday plays. Congratulations. You keep doing that for a little while longer and you will get a lot of followers in no time at all.
