Just wanted to make a note here. I'm NOT advocating that games are fixed by any means, (meaning that a certain team is 100% predestined to win).
However, just wanted to point something out that I've noticed here.
Oakland was converting some crazy percentage of 3rd downs (75%). This game was going Oakland's way up 21-7. All Oakland needed to do was come up with a defensive stop to go into the half 21-7 and then get the ball back to start the 2nd half. If that happened and Oakland scored to start the 2nd half to make the game 28-7, most people would quit watching this game.
Clearly, this is not what the NFL (and more importantly) the NFL's partners and advertisers want. Hence, Oakland plays some strange prevent defense, allows Romo to move it down the field and make it 21-14 at the half. A game, most people consider competitive and keep viewers glued to TV.
I render a guess that Cowboys will probably win this game straight up, not sure about a cover. But this is a clear case of money dictating how the game flows.

There's the fg to only keep it a two possession game so that people don't start tuning out and going to bed. I now expect Steelers to score this drive. At worst, they will punt, ravens will punt it back and then steelers will get another shot to score.

Lol this is funny... Why are you so surprised that Dallas (the better team) woke up and got a TD before the have swinging the momentum. It was just a matter of time before they did. And obviously they took over in the second half after adjustments.
And again why are you surprised the steelers just scored. These 2 divisional rivals have had a FG game in 8 out of there last 9. Not surprising this isn't a blowout

I didn't say I was surprised, to the contrary, this is quite predictable, but not because the cowboys 'woke up' during the last drive of the 2nd quarter.
If you watched the game, Phil Simms even said himself that he expects Oakland to stick with the tough defense. Instead Oakland plays deep cover defense allowing Romo wide open receivers to move down the field and bring the game within a posession going into halftime.
It was also inevitable that McGloin couldnt maintain his 75% 3rd down completion percentage but that wouldnt matter anyways if Oakland went up 28-7.

U nailed it sir. Least we dont forget last years SB too. People r naive to not realize there are a myriad of "influences" on these games.
For this upcoming SNF and MNF game, money can be made for those of you that follow the line, watch the game flow, and then wager in-play wagering on props like "Team to Score Next". You will find yourself in a profitable position.

First, damn near every team plays some form of prfev ent defense in similar situations and THEY'VE BEEN DOIN G IT FOR AS LONG AS i CAN REMEMBER.....................................it's not like this is the first game it's ever happened.
Then you say, if, if, if Oakland scores coming out of halftime , your making another huge assumption that would be odds against happening.
Anyone could take almost any game and bend and twist info around like this to paint any picture a person wanted...................................................................

Knowing America. What wouldn't people do for money? A missed tackle. A dropped pass? At least romo wont get blamed for it nor the refs. Lol Oakland bet on Oakland. And they had 2 mins to do it.
And Pittsburg had 5 minutes. Clean slate. Most people shrug this off because they cannot comprehend what they just saw. It is pretty unreal how ignorant the masses truly are. Every Sunday. Every Mondays and Thursdays too now lol
