Another useless thread. You are talking about a guy who other than for 16 weeks this year, has been below mediocre in his career. They have been underdogs all year, playing with house money, no stress and it worked out. The last 2 weeks have been meaningful games against 2 of the better teams.

How does he benefit from throwing the game away?

Sam Darnold was the worst player on the field tonight. Stafford showed up and they made Minnesotas offense look atrocious with Jefferson Addison and Hockenson. He has weapons everywhere and he took how many sacks seriously. 

BUT, the Vikings had a non losing season. 

Vikings quit in the 2nd half after some bad breaks in the 1st half.  Their mental state was clearly fragile after the ass kicking received from the Lions last week.
