Right before the kick, broadcaster Mike Tirico is saying Ravens went all around the country asking other kickers who to pick. They settled on Loop because he was "made of the right stuff for moments like this." Bill Parcells : "Never put your fate in the hands of a kicker."

Boswell miss is not being emphasized enough...let's not forget that as that opened the door for this last play insanity as that is all that would have been talked about if he made that kick. Those balls take funny twists and turns in Heinz for 25 years and both kickers fell victim to a hard right turn about halfway home.
