First of all, anyone who has known me for years know I'm not a service; I'm just a guy who enjoys capping NFL games & using sdql to find gold. Second of all, those same people know I can go on a losing streak but when I find a game I can really sink my teeth into, I tear into it until there's nothing left. And tonight is one of those nights.
When this line first came out I had a lot of questions but the biggest was: "Why in the h*ll are the Texans a -3'pt fav @ Pitt?"
And then I went to work & did my homework.
Sports media has been pimpin' the Steelers record at home on Monday nights. They're 24-2 s/u since 1990. How in the h*ll can you bet against that? Especially after beating the Ravens as a home dog last week? And the Texans barely beat the Colts as a DD fav & allowed 30pts for the first time all season?
Taking the Texans-3 looks scary as h*ll & taking the Steelers looks great, right? Well hold your horses. Here we go...
Since 2018 & after week 3, the Texans not a dog of more than +6 on the road w/a total range of 34 to 41', on less than 14 days rest & opp on less than 10 days rest:
11-0 s/u & ats
as a fav: s/u by 34, 24 & 20
ahh, but this is the playoffs you say. Okay, I give you 3 scores for road teams in the WC round:

Rough start in playoffs Rams Packers and Chargers are losses for ya GL tonight
Yep...like I said...once I sink my teeth into one game...
I have so much stuff either on the Texans- or against Steelers+ I had to get out a new legal pad to write. And I just scratched the surface on what I posted.
SDQL'ers, run this:
playoffs=1
p:playoffs=0
line>1
rest<10
total<40
Sum(W@team and H, N=9)>4
0
