If we are going to talk about Covid on a sports betting forum (still not sure why I would ever care to do that although here I am) lets just put the statistics out there. These are estimated of course but, we would have to assume they are at least close to being accurate. Here it goes- World population currently stands at roughly 7,921,433,700. Current reported covid cases stand at 338,799,139. So call the current amount of reported cases 348,799,139. If this number was accurate that would tell us that just over 4% of the entire human race has been infected with the covid 19 virus. Current reported covid deaths -5,581,825. This number I don't believe we should be assuming more or less of due to the fact that many deaths related to covid have been said to be reported as covid deaths when in turn they may not have been. Hard to say a guy with covid has a heart attack and that his death was strictly because of covid. 5,581,825/ 7921433700 = less than 1%. Less than 1% of the entire world has died from this virus. Of course these are just numbers reported by world governments. They should not be considered inaccurate to those of you who believe 99.9% of what world governments tell you is truth. To those of us who aren't so trusting I'm sure that you could try and argue these numbers. This is just simple math that I have done on a calculator with numbers given to me by worldometer.com. This website tracks world population among other things, and of course Covid 19 cases. It is updated daily. Just thought I'd throw the numbers out there. After all why have an opinion on something if you haven't researched any of the facts? Who knows what the truth is? I don't.

They resort to name calling yet back none of their talking points with substance, like the idiot who claims he has a biology degree. Im sure he will reference you to a Fox News website or Joe Rogan Podcast soon.
They call anyone who supports good public health measures and vaccination a “snowflake”. As a doc I’ll be the first to tell you that these guys, despite making fun of others, calling them snowflakes, and pretending this virus is “not a real virus” or somehow downplaying the severity of it are the ones who are the snowflakes. They are just projecting. Trust me I see it every day when people like them come to my hospital, scared shitless (understandably), hypoxic, struggling to breath, begging for help. Their poor judgement and staunch ignorance got them to that point. They can act tough behind the keyboard and remain ignorant because they don’t (and could never) work in the trenches where I work, risking my life to save theirs or people like them every day for that past 2+ years…..thats why I don’t even engage them anymore. It is exhausting. They’ll never change as evidenced by their comments.
