It was not a big violence incident. He was provoked and he just pushed her twice and she fell down and he threaten to kick her but never did.
But its all about PR effect to the franchise. When living on a paycheck from public money (fans), better stay out of cameras.
Releasing from team is unwarranted though just based on this incident. May be Chiefs dont want to deal with media everyday about this issue and simply got rid of him.

We dont know the whole story so lets calm the eff down...in the end, a man cannot do that to a woman in the snowflake era of society we find ourselves in today...we all understand this...however it may come out that these women were calling him Nigg** for a very long period of time before the video clip we all saw, and who really knows what else was said by this woman to ultinately provoke him into assaulting her...what if she repeatedly said to him "im going to have you lynched and kill your entire family after if you dont give me money right now"...let the law play itself out and move on with our lives...in the end, who effing cares what happens to these people...i sure as hell dont
