NFL Playoffs : Baltimore @ Tennessee pick

Hey everyone ...
 
Much respect to the Baltimore team that easily handled the Miami
Dolphins last week , but while that is fresh on everyone's memories what Tennessee has accomplished this season is very much fresh on my memory .
 They let their foot off the gas pedal last few weeks as they battled injuries and complacency .
But , this is an unusual situation in that we have the team that has proved to be the best team in the AFC throughout the season playing well rested and only laying 3 points .
We all know the injury situation and while I am concerned about the absence of the Titans center Kevin Mawae , I believe it will be their defense particularly with Albert Haynesworth back in the lineup that will make all the difference .
Joe Flacco has looked calm and collected thus far and has a bright future in the NFL .
That being said, The Titans will rattle the kid into making mistakes as he plays his first playoff game on the road .
This is a great matchup , but in the end I want to be on the Titans side with an experienced quarterback playing a home game , well rested , healthier and somewhat disrespected as Baltimore comes in with a bandwagon of new fans and super bowl predictions .
 
Until proven otherwise , The Titans will be the team to beat in the AFC .

If you look at the defensive #, both teams are neck to neck in terms of stats/defense, but Ravens been getting more hyped because of Reed/Lewis. Don't get me wrong, they are very good but they beat an overachieved Miami team last weekend. They are about to play against MEN tomorrow and I like Fisher/Collins/Titans D on their turf and being well rested.
 
It's $$$$$$$ on Titans ML.

Yes he did ...Joe Flacco did play last week @ Miami ...
It will be much more hostile for him this time around ...and I really like the kid ! ...but yes he did ...

it happens with teams coming off a wild card win
but a healthy Titans defense is what I want to see in this game .
Joe Flacco will have to take some chances when their run attack is shut down and I see a couple of interceptions by the kid when it's all said and done . At the end of the game , everyone will be reminded why the Titans have the best record in the AFC and get to play this game at home . The Titans offense will put up enough points to win this game and cover the spread .

Roberto, big scheduling disadvantage for Ravens also,having played 6 days ago on the road,and doing it again. Team also without a bye for 17 weeks due to Texan rescheduling in second week.

And head coaching, I'll take Fisher in this type of game.

Oddsmakers have determined these 2 teams to be dead even and have given the Titans the 3 pt home field standard edge . There is not much that separates these 2 teams. This is why I want the experience that the Titans have both in coaching and in the Qb position .
I would take the Titans - 4 as well .

Flacco has played 2 playoff games on the road - if the Ravens didnt win at Dallas, they weren't making the playoffs. Ravens been playing playoff football for weeks on end now.

I lean on Tenn also. 
My main reason is Fischer. He is a great coach and Titans will be ready.
Baltimore's offense could be exposed this week by a very good Titan "D".

Duly noted ...Look Baltimore and Joe Flacco have been playing great , but I still think the Titans beat them in the end  and get to Joe enough times that by the fourth quarter he will be forcing throws . The pressure intensifies the farther you advance and you know that ... Let's see how he responds in the fourth quarter when he is down by 7 points . I could be way off base here , but it remains to be seen .

Love the pick -

First, Tenn is vastly underrated by the public.  I see them coming out with a chip on their shoulder - much like the Pitt game.
Secondly, I hear a lot of noise that this team will be off pace since they relaxed for the finale against the Colts - and then followed up with a bye.  I don't think that matters for this team.  They are a physical, tough running minded team.  Offensive flow does not matter as much in this style of team- as it does for a team like the Colts who fold every year after resting players.

I like the Titans in a defensive match with more rested players, a chip on their shoulder, home field advantage, and a far more experienced QB at the helm - not to mention the coaching advantage-
