Okay first off, I am by far a Dallas Cowboys fan.... Never was and never will be
But tonight, I will be backing them and the reason being in just one word.... Ouch!
Motivation is and has always been a part of my handicapping when my hard-earned dollars are at stake.
Motivation #1 = when your last game with Detroit was a shellacking of the outmost embarrassing proportions in front of your hometown fans (October 2024 final score Lions 47 Dallas 9) Yeah you being out for revenge with this game being circled in the locker room for over a year.... Yep, you've been waiting with fire in your eyes.
Motivation #2 = losing your teammate in Defensive End Marshawn Kneeland to suicide at such a young age of 24 gives you that motivation to win for him as they have not lost in three games since his death.
They are the dogs in this game, and I think it holds tremendous value with the points as I believe the cowboys motivation for the two motivational factors mentioned above in itself regardless of the future and the team's playoff implications these factors will outweigh any motivation that the injury riddled Detroit lions may have for themselves.
Pass the Kool-Aid.... I'm on the cowboys!
Dallas ML +138 (Bet rivers)
