Being that Vrabel essentially got hired simply for being a former Patriot, you figure he would've installed Bill Belichick's defense. He did not. You figure he would've brought in someone to install the Erhardt-Perkins offense. Maybe he did but it's hard to know because they have lacked offensive identity under Vrabel aside from handing the ball off to Derrick Henry. He could be credited with benching Mariota and installing Ryan Tannehill as the starter but that's really his only noteworthy action as a coach.

he's a good, not great coach. he will easily get picked up elsewhere.
if you think he's bad or "trash", you dont know football.
Titans had one star player the whole time...King Henry. That's it. Tanny is decent but not great and injury prone. They had no good backup QBs and absorbed a lot of losses with bad backups.
so what do you do with that? you run the ball as much as possible. he had 4 good seasons in the NFL. the last 2 were just not great. it was time for him to move on.
Patriots are an obvious landing spot. I'm not sure who the Titans will hire. Some boring ass coordinator from one of the playoff teams. Spears might help the franchise going forward but until they draft a stud QB (hint: not Will Levis), they will continue to be mediocre at best.

Titans had "one star"? You sound like your understanding of football comes from playing fantasy. I know football inside and out. This is why I know Vrabel is a trash coach. I mean, he's supposed to be a defensive coach. What can he hang his hat on defensively? You figure he would've installed the system he played in. Nope. I mean, even when the Patriots have been bad in recent years, there defense has always been decent. And that has all been scheme based. And he has tweaked that scheme over the years. Added hybridization to keep place with the modern game. I could write a term paper on Belichick's defenses over the years. What can you say about Mike Vrabel's defense, scheme wise? Teach me as if I don't know football.
Vrabel is not a good coach. He took over a mediocre team and kept them mediocre. And now they're bad.
