I hit the San Francisco 49ers to win the NFC at +1350.
Many reasons why I pulled the trigger.
1. It’s wide open. Who’s dominant in the NFC right now? You don’t think Kyle Shanahan can beat the Bears ? Sam Darnold and Seattle? Eagles are giving me 2022 vibes (they don’t have it) this year. It’s always down to the wire vs the Rams.
Cowboys are dangerous but Shanahan owns them too. He’s paid his dues for many years man. He might get those breaks needed to get back to the SB this season.
2. Saleh has the young guys playing defense at a high level. Those kids are playing to make a name for themselves and get paid. They don’t have playoff fatigue. From what I gather Warner could be back for the NFCCG if they get there obviously.
3. +1250 gives me a solid hedging opportunity if they make it to the conference finals.
As long as CMC and Kittle are healthy, Shanahan can beat any team on any given Sunday.
He should be coy by the way

Highly likely that one of the three teams from NFC West will play the NFCC. Rams have been there in 2022, Niners have been there in 2023. Postseason experiences matter in most playoff games, I assume.
On the AFC side, can C. J. Stroud emerge from mediocre level to decent down the stretch? Texans have the best defense by the stats in the NFL. Stroud has won two playoff games before, and now he has a very staunch defense to back him. We shall see.

This Sunday night when it comes to the pivotal game of Houston @ Kansas City. If Houston should beat KC, Texans will have ~85% chance making to the playoffs, Chiefs will drop to 19% or lower on the losing side.
NBC gets a good game on Sunday night, supposedly.

I'll tell you something. I am probably one of shanahan's biggest critics. I have seen him make inexplicably horrible calls in massive situations. That being said he's done a really good job this year. The only problem is you're probably right he probably will be in the nfc championship game and he might even win the nfc championship game. But when he's on the cusp of winning it all something happens to the guy he folds he chokes it's like he gets nervous it's like he psyches himself out and expects to blow it it's all mental with him.
But you're not really talking about that you're just talking about him winning the nfc. If he makes the playoffs it's a great bet that the niners will come out of the nfc and they're gonna make the playoffs so you made a great bet.
