All bets below will be betting 1/2 unit ($25), with the exception of the Chargers game. Will ramp it up as the season progresses. Gotta get a feel for these teams in the regular season. I fully expect myself to stumble out of the gates.
Eagles -1 (-110) $50 to $40
Dolphins -3 (-120) $50 to win $38
Cowboys ML (+120) $50 to win $60
Jets +4.5 (-110) $50 to win $45
Chargers - 3 (-110) $100 to win $90
Chargers game mini write-up.
*Motivation
Losing to the Raiders by 40+ points in their 2nd matchup. (Resulting in Staley's firing.)
*Improved O-line
Drafted stud tackle Joe Alt, who has transitioned seamlessly from LT to RT. Big test going up against Crosby this Sunday, but (if needed) has help with one of the better blocking TEs in Will Dissly (signed as FA in offseason)
*Improved run game
Better linesman this year, brought in run game guru Greg Roman as OC, and signed two RBs who can implement his vision (Gus Edwards, JK Dobbins)
*Health
It's true that the Chargers will be without Keenan Allen & Mike Williams, but Williams was out for most of last year and found ways to win. It's really about replicating what Keenan Allen brought. It may take some time, but I think Ladd McConkey (2nd round pick, who the team traded up for with a GM who usually trades down for picks, could be that guy.
*Harbaugh/Minter
Minter was able to see what worked and didn't work under Staley, and this will be the only thing he focuses on. Won't worry about having to be the HC, like Staley. Harbaugh will find ways to win, and flip the one score losses in his favor that has been a hallmark of both his career and the Staley/Lynn/McCoy eras.

1/2 unit, as displayed in the bets I typed below that is $50. I had changed my mind prior to placing those bets and went from a quarter unit to a half.

Typo in my unit accounting.
