Here on Covers, I would say it's definitely more on the Pats than the Hawks for sure.

For those of you who is taking the Pats on the bet percentage being 70% on Seattle earlier in the week, it's now down to 57% on Seattle and probably going down even further.  So, it's more and more betting the Pats than anything else.

Also, the moneyline bet percentage is 52% Seattle to 48% New England at BetMGM.

Do the math.  MGM is going to lose a lot if that percentage holds and New England wins.  The only thing is, I don't know if that percentage is just the ticket #'s or $ volume.  If it's $ volume, then MGM will definitely get hosed if New England wins.  If you believe that the books never lose, then they are rooting for Seattle to win at least.

Go count all of the posts on here and tell us the total number of posters on Seattle vs New England.

I've read a lot of posts on here if not all, and there's definitely more on New England than Seattle and the current bet percentage proves that.

What doesn't make sense is that Las Vegas Review Journal is reporting that the public is still all over Seattle and the sharps are all over New England.  I call BS on that one since they reported that the sharps were all over the opening line of -3.5.  Those jokers are probably trying to influce the public to bet more on New England knowing full well it's the losing side.  They probably work for the Vegas books.  LOL

Who the hells know what's true and not.  I'm sure the sharps are better than the public in the long run, but they lose just like everyone else.

So, now we got sharps all over -3.5 and then all over +4.5 and +5.0?  I guess it could be true.  So that means Seattle wins by 4?  I suppose that could happen.

That first sentence tells me that you are pretty clueless.

There are multi millions at stakes at some books with the futures bets; all based on who wins.

That's not all as there are many high 6-figure bets on the moneyline on both sides including 2 million dollar bet on New England moneyline by Mattress Mack.  That book will lose almost $4 million if New England wins and you don't think they care?

There are even reports saying that some books want one team to win or another, but they mostly want Seattle to win as the liability on the New England moneyline is too big.

There was a report saying that the prop bets overshadow the side/moneyline/over-under bet amounts and that may be true but millions are still at stake based on who wins.

 My opinion I believe if they move it to five they're going to take a lot of action with New England. In general the books like the balance the books they're going to win anyway.

I'm a spot bettor who takes shots here and there and I don't bet every week and don't bet in units like you or anyone else who does that.

I haven't lost yet in the playoffs as I'm undefeated and up well over $30K just for the playoffs.

sharps do not vote in a group. there are sharps on both sides. The term itself is so overused as to be worthless. 

New England still had to win the away games and they are perfect in those games.  So, they are doing something right and it probably has to do with their defense if anything.

However, Seattle will be the best team they have faced besides Buffalo which they werent 1-1, so we will see how they fare.

Can't wait for the game to start.  I have a lot riding on Seattle ML and I'm just hoping for them to win at least.  I hate sweating the game, so if Seattle jumps ahead quickly and stays there it will be a less stress on my heart.

If Billy bets on a team, would you want to bet the other side?  I certainly wouldn't.

I'm sure the sharps are split on this Super Bowl, but what concerns me the most is that a report from Las Vegas Review Journal that said the sharps were making a lot of New England moneyline bets.  I'm on the other side, so I ended up reducing from 10K to 5K for an additional Seattle moneyline bet on top of what I already have on Seattle moneyline.

The Seattle moneyline price has been on the rise everywhere, so that can only be a good sign from my past experience.

It's not just him but practically everyone at ESPN where he used to work is picking Seattle to win and mostly cover.

I freaking hate that everything that I read says Seattle is going to win.  Hardly anyone says that New England is going to win.

And yet, more people on here are betting New Enaland from what I'm reading and quite a bit of New England moneyline bets too.

Geez, I hate being in my position at the moment.
