i am always afraid of the teams that carry that sb curse.the rushing play phil uses on short yardage cannot be used anymore that was half their 1st downs. gd luck...

I took Eagles at -120. Also took Detroit at +130.
I love Eagles at even money.
On paper only injury can make this bet lose.
"That rushing play" that the above poster is referring to is merely a simple QB option sneak, and it can and will be used many times per game successfully because of the personnel. This team is still loaded and young.
I am no eagles homer fan......just like the odds considering Sam Howell and Daniel Jones are leading the Commies and GMen, and if Dallas hasn't figured it out with Dak thus far, I do not see how letting McCarthy call the plays is gonna make it any different. Dallas is a solid team on both sides of the ball, but Philly is elite from a talent perspective. They are hungry. They had the super bowl in their grasps and I believe they will be on a revenge tour.
Anything can happen, but this isn't the 3 point dependent NBA, the cream rises to the top and Philly bullies teams in the trenches as these games drag on. Good luck if you bet it.

qb sneak is a legit play but when 3 300 pounders get behind qb and push this is not allowed this year...check out all the sb losers and see how well they did the next year not too good.

The last NFC East division repeat winner was in 2005. Also, PHL's strength of schedule was ranked #30 last season per Jeff Sagarin. Per CBS Sports, based on opponents' combined 2022 win percentages PHL has the #1 toughest schedule in the upcoming season.
I think PHL +100 is a horrbile bet.
Good luck, OP.

@DogbiteWilliams
Yep, no doubt it will be a much tougher road than last year for the Eagles. I was impressed by the performance of Jalen Hurts and even though I won on KC, I thought the call on Juju was mickey mouse. I mean to decide the whole game on it stinks IMO. I think the Bengals were jobbed versus KC too on a few calls in the conference championship but I am biased as I had a SB future on Cincy.

I did not watch the game, but I'd rather not blame the refs for the result.
IMHO, I'd say KC's decision to and ability to shut down PHL's #1 rushing offense (just 3.6 YPRA) and Hurts' fumble made the difference.
