There's an old saying..."star is out, team balls out".  Usually applies to basketball teams who's main guy is out and they are dawgs and still pull off the win.  Maybe this applies tonight...everyone knows about the Det injuries yet they are still favored?  I'm even seeing 3.5 now as of 2:30.  Det may be the play..."multiple stars are out, team balls out"!

Hmmm I'm seeing both sides heavy with action and really don't know where you got those numbers from.

thats what bugs me lol. Everyone's aunt and uncle knowns Lions has a lot of injuries , lost to eagles / kc but dallas won against eagles and kc. Yet, they are dogs? 

If I follow your train of thought, the team who have more injuries should be the underdogs right? But why is the surging dallas cowboys having the + points here? This game is really stinky. 

this could be Lions +1.5 easily and tip the bets on their favor but the books have other plans.

That was a phrase I came up with a decade ago when betting on NBA lol , not sure if someone else came up with that before me. "Star is out, team balls out" , "Star comes back, team goes whack" described the NBA perfectly.

I don't think it's as impactful in NFL but it does happen. seems like the smart money is on the Lions goes from 3 to 3.5 while Cowboys seem like the public play. Doesn't mean smart money is guaranteed to win but interesting conundrum we have tonight.

Yep! Sometimes that smart money also known as the Pro money or sharp money can overwhelmingly exceed the public money so therefore the outcome will be interesting to as to whom wins ....public or sharps? 

Definitely curious to know how much Detroit money is coming in to keep this at 3/3.5. Action network has 76% of the bets on Dallas and 78% of the money. Looks for sure like the books will need Detroit tonight and that’s never a bad side to be on. 

I think it’s important to note that with two potentially high scoring offenses on the field you often get a margin of victory that’s not necessarily indicative of how the game goes. Expect tds and 2pc attempts tonight and a potentially whacky final score. A 7-11 point victory by either side would not come as a surprise, nor would a 7 point OT victory.
