Realize how no one is blaming him for this season? Suddenly all the blame goes to role players when Brady has been known to "make players great"? Realize how all the commentators still talk about how next year he will just come back and play harder after losing in the wildcard?

Lighting rod issue ... For some...  Lets play devil's advocate ...  Just to name a few retired NFL players who have gone on record and called Brady the GOAT..  These players have no tie to  Brady and could have called ANY QB the GOAT.. Lets see ...  Guys who played the NFL at the highest level and called Brady the GOAT.. The just may know just a little more then you and me about QB play in the NFL.. Ed  Reed.... Revis Island..  Deion Sanders..  hmm.. who's who of db play..   Von Miller...  Ray Lewis..  Strahan ...  no names not...  Randy  Moss..  Jerry "freaking Rice""  think Jerry knows QB play..  Irving.. Wayne..  QB's..  Tarkenton.. Rodgers... Favre..  Theisman.. These were just to name a few.. not all..   lets see a who's who of hall or Fame PLAYERS....or me and a bunch of guys watching on TV... Hmm...  tough call..  Remember these guys could have named ANY QB the GOAT..  Rice no Montana..  Revis ...  Reed..  come on man its not a no brainer but to say he is a systems QB..LOL..

you have copy and pasted this in every thread that involves Brady. No one in here has yet to question if he is the goat yet. and btw i have said this 10 times, your list of names is just showing how it is more a popularity contest and people follow other opinions

Brady never passed the eye test...A dink and dunker and a checkdown Charlie sleep2  Marino could zip balls anywhere without moving his arm, the ball literally looked like it was shot out of a cannon when Elway threw it and Peyton Manning's field generalship will never be matched.. always getting into proper blitz protection and changing into the perfect play every single time...

You know I always thought that myself! Nothing against Brady but him and Marino, Elway, Burt Jones, Tarkenton, Favre are different styles of qbs and the latter didnt play mostly within 15 yd. throws. They were all over the field utilizing the whole field. Brady pretty much being non mobile was limited to the out passes and quick throw schemes! Nothing against Brady, he was good for the game but he's far from being the GOAT in my opinion!

Agree to disagree this IS NOT a popularity contest far from it this is NFL players evaluating QB play from a players standpoint the questions was not who is the most popular it was who is the GOAT and the players on that list are strong willed man not sheep for God's sake.. What about Brady on the Buccaneers with all those receivers
 problem is Brady is good but slower than he used to be which means he needs a team with a strong oline..

Buddy everyone in this thread is saying it's time for him to retire, the guy you responded to was just speculating about teams he could go to because we all know he is not retiring, they never do until they stay too long, just the way it is. But obviously he would need weapons around him and a strong offensive line to have any shot of success, and if he did have those things he could probably still get some stuff done. It's the end, everyone knows that. He said he wants to play until he is 45 which means we have two more seasons to watch this play out. It's fun to speculate, where the old geezer is gonna play those last two seasons.

I guarantee you 75% of people do not think it is over for him.
