Life long Bear fan here. Take the Niners..the Bears  are sick and I don't think will win much less cover. I do like the over though.

How is it that you claim the bears are sick but you like the over?

Is it because since they are sick that they will become lethargic and are going to give up and just get steamrolled in this game?

In regards to the flu... Their professional athletes with the best medical staffs.   Theyll take a "mock tail IV" or 2, flush their systems and they'll be alright & out there playing.     

As a Bears Fan, I think this is a game they lose too.  Especially winning the Division last night.    Curious to if they celebrated and/or, how strict the coaches are with them to LOCK IN. 

Also watching the Seahawks and carolina.   If the Seahawks lose and it increases our chances for #1 seed.  We may come out alittle more motivated, knowing this win can really boost are chances of getting the #1 seed with a win.    If Seahawks win.   Our situation is basically staying the same for 1st round of the playoffs. So a loss or bad game isnt the end of the world.  Live, learn and move forward to next week vs Det.   

Just my 2 cents. I hope im wrong,  i hope the bears come out,  play perfect on both sides of the ball and just blow the 49ers out.

As for motivation, rarely do athletes lay down on prime time. And I just don't see a Ben Johnson coached team doing anything like that for any game.

Being a first year HC, he will 100% want to beat Shanahan imo.

Valid points indeed but also if and when you beat a team that will be giving 100% to try and get number one seeding and a first week bye and indeed win this game on the road by doing so, you are showing that your team is indeed ready for the post season and to really show all...that these Chicago Bears are for real and the teams  motivation will become through the roof.

why do you even think that? 

you do realize if the bears win this week and beat the Lions next week and Seattle Loses to Frisco next week The Chicago bears will have the number one overall seed and not only the first week bye but home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

Was thinking Niners all week. Especially with a showdown for the division with Seattle next week.

However, this Bears team is basically what Washington was last season. Blew away expectations. 

The Bears clinched the division last night, yet the line has barely moved. Not sure if I would take the Bears, but I wouldn't be giving points with SF tonight. 

 Im kinda surprised by it. Alot of people starting to jump on the Bears bandwagon.  In my eyes tho, there still the Bears and they're capable of letting us all down. Public money on the Bears,  makes me like SF.   

Again, I know the Bears will be dialed in for this game and Ben Johnson wouldnt accept anything less. What I meant earlier was, maybe after finding out the packers lost and they officially won the division.    Did they party or stay out alittle later than they normally would,  knowing that they won the division and now they locked in a playoff game at home vs Probably the Packers.

  They already knew the #1 seed was outta reach. Now really outta reach with Seattle winning. 

Tonight's game, no longer has as much impact on there playoff position.    Now its just showing the world, they deserve to be here, the last minute wins were no flukes, and they're a legit contender for the SB.

I guess  youre right. I didnt think that all the way through. I think its bc Im not confident in the Bears winning tonight. I felt this way immediately after the miracle VS the Packers last week.  Maybe that makes me a shitty bears fan... or a realist. 

I love what the Bears are doing but we almost lost to a backup last week at home. Packers controlled that entire game with EASE.   I think the niners are going to do whatver they want to us tonight on offense.  Especially with the public on them.  Id bet on the 49ers ML all day long.

 Ill say it one more time for you.   I dont think the Bears can win this game.   So I dont think the #1 seed  was ever a possibility bc i have them LOSING this game.
