Are the 4 better QB all getting points in all 4 games?

Threw this out to my buddies in a group text and got a lot of discussion out of it.  

Of course it’s never this simple in betting, especially with tight playoff lines……

But could it be as simple as…..

houston +8.5 with Stroud the better QB 

GB +9.5/10 with Love the better QB 

Bucs +6 with Mayfield the better QB 

Chiefs +2.75 with Mahomes 2x champ and better QB. 

Thoughts?

Very subjective....but I wouldn't call any of those better QBs. All pretty close for sure.....but all the dogs are on the road....Mahomes 1st road playoff game ever.....Stroud and Love are solid, but what have they done? Now on the road vs solid defenses.....Mayfield vs Goff is meh....

So in the end.....

Interesting take. I disagree with Mayfield being better than Goff. He had a good game vs maybe the worst pass defense in the NFL.

So "better" means your subjective vantage inclusive of bias or is there a more objective measurement we can look at?

Cause the numbers for this year suggest a different picture.

I could be talked into 3 of those 4 having exceptional form the last 3-4 weeks.

I like baker, but I think Goff is severely underrated. The whole “ if you pressure him he makes mistakes “ is something that can be said for 90% of QBs.. the “knock” on Brady was, get pressure up the middle and you beat him. Truth is, pressure is what causes mistakes from every starter, not many throw the ball away or get rattled with a clean pocket. Not a Lamar guy, he has to prove it in the playoffs but putting stroud ahead of him this early is a stretch

Interesting take for sure....when you consider the teams getting the points I think glyde has a point at least.  

My thoughts.... 

Lamar MVP > rookie QB

Brock MVP candidate + Defense > hottest QB down the stretch 

Goff @ home > Baker on road 

GOAT = Alien terminator QB who can only beat himself 

In what planet is baker better than goff.       Goff is 21-7 last 28 games.     Most yards and first downs thrown for in the NFL.    Get a grip.    Goff makes 30 million and baker 4 for a reason

Would have to disagree with Mahomes being better than Allen. Also with Love being better than Purdy. Purdy has had a phenomenal season and lead his team to a no.1 seed. Not to mention that it’s just the beginning for him.

Allen and Mahomes have different qualities that make them so special. The only thing Mahomes has that Allen doesn’t is the rings. I see why people say Mahomes is better, but maybe KC has just as many rings with Allen at qb? You

good post.  Jordan love isn’t lining up against Brock purdy, he’s lining up against a dominant sf defense.  Brock purdy ain’t lining up across the line of scrimmage from Jordan love, he’s lining up against a garbage packers d that allowed Danny freakin Devito to beat them and be offensive player of the week

Even if you think so... Baltimore is top in takeaways and sacks. Ravens don't have an old 4th string QB statue playing QB.

There's more to this game than QB play 

Just keep in mind Cj wont be playing the league's worst road defense this week . The line is quickly dropping due to recency bias people tend to over react week to week

Lamar > Stroud.  Balt > Houston.  I can only imagine how much better Houston would be with better RBs and having healthy WRs.  Brown being injured hurts them more.

in no world is Mayfield > Goff.  TB ended the season playing terribly.  They ran into a team playing much worse than they were and that had basically already quit.

please tell me you watched Baker crash and burn against NOR and CAR.  it was painful to watch.  both competent defenses.

Purdy > Love....but Love is playing well.  Purdy is solid and has better offensive weapons around him.

I think Mahomes > Allen but it's not a big game.  However Allen has better weapons around him right now which nullifies the advantage.

I don’t have a strong opinion either way.  Just something I was kicking around that got a dozen people up in arms.  

 Spreads of 9.5, 9.5, 6.5 and u can make an argument that all 3 right now have the better QB getting those points.  

Lamar Jackson > C.J. Stroud

 Jackson is far superior QB with PO experiences. Ravens better D. Stroud will show off next year with Nico and Tank, still a very impressive Rookie year. 

Josh Allen = Patrick Mahomes 

Patrick Mahomes is more experienced QB but lesser weapons around him. Josh Allen is arguably the Alpha QB at the moment with home field advantage. Revenge factor is in play as well.

Brock Purdy > Jordan Love

Jordan Love and his young weapons playing unbelievable football, but this will stop this weekend. Brock Purdy is still underrated and he enjoys the spot. 

Jarrod Goff > Baker Mayfield 

This one is tough, but I'm going with Jarrod Goff in Campbell's system. The Lions also have two explosive RBs who can catch passes.

While I agree that Goff is better than Mayfield, TB did win five of their last six. 

Mayfield suffered bruised ribs from that violent hit in the NO game. 

Based on what the Bucs are paying Mayfield,  they got a steal.

 You could create a 4 team parlay. But I say out of the four: 49ers cover as the only favorite.

Bucs +6
