Anybody been to a SuperBowl

I went to SB 23 in Miami.

Was friends with the SID at the U.

I only needed 2 for me/gf( who  thought we were going to a futbol game)..

He gave me an envelope with 10 tix, I kept 2, sold 8.

$4800 bucks, 600 a pop ..made $2400 , gave him 2400 and also made another $350 helping my buddies, the football managers at the U ( i managed the bball team.

Then, because I worked with the Heat, and MickeyArison invited me, my gf/I went to the Carnival pregame party outside the stadium.

And went to several other parties thanks to Mr.Arison.

Never been personally although I'd like to one of these days......How much you think those tickets would be worth tonight?

Never been but wouldn't mind some day.

They say to buy 10 Tix to the next Superbowl.  Keep two for yourself and sell the rest when the playoffs time.  Sell it to them fancy hotels as they will sell the Tix with the room to whales as a package.  

In this way, you get to go to every Superbowl for free.

What a great memory you got to have!  I've never been to a Super Bowl, and honestly have no desire to anymore.  I can be near my frig for beers and snacks whenever I want, plus be near a restroom without having to climb a bunch of stairs!!

 The tickets I sold were $150 each face value on the 30 yd line.

Today, easily $2500-3 each .

 I would go but only with club seats..my foot issues are such that I dont want anybody stepping on, kicking my foot.

Ravens vs 49ers when lights went out.

A lot more marketing exec folks there than real fans.

I worked on corporate jets here in Delaware, meeting John Travolta, Ronald Reagan, Hugh Hefner, Peter Falk (he was wearing a trench coat haha) and many other rich people. 

I was at the 2028 Super Bowl.  I saw Biff, from back to the future......it was awesome!!

1975 Super Bowl 9  Steelers -16 Vikings -9 Tulane Stadium.

Defenses dominated especially the Steelers .. met my future wife a few months later and that put an end to attending any super bowls after that .lol

Would never be interested spending thousands of dollars for what I can watch on TV or at a sports bar I”am at the point we’re I can’t stand the NFL to political and to fixed with the refs controlling the out come of the games. Plus look at the Halftime show a male supposed to come out wear a dress it’s disgusting just my opinion.

 I enjoyed SB 23 because in those days , the game was the Story.

 Been to 5. Pats/GB. Pats/giants. Dallas/Buff.  Dall/Pitt. And my favorite in Miami SF/SD young monkey off my back game. Records still stand from that game. Highly recommend taking one in if possible. Tip go to team hotels bars. Put number 1 on you. Closer to game better you will get ticket cheap. Also any espn event put sign on you. Good luck all.
