What two missed FT can do to a guy

Have had 3 months or more of losses, deposit - lose, played over and over. I have lost in some of the most despicable ways leaving me wondering if this is the end of a 17 year run at sports betting where I have lost much more than I ever won. I made 3 deposits this last week alone crawled back to my book for a rebate bonus and blew thru that. After plodding along I went all in on Cavs OVER 208.5 and think I get a gift when it goes OT but not today not any day, when I needed one big hit more than any - final is 208 after what could not happen did happen. Sick feeling I can't shake, it is the dark side of sports betting, for all the winners today and every day - there is one like me. i wish I could get out of this racket but when you owe people a few bucks this shit has you by the balls. Gambling is the devil.

Not at all easy to qui and theirs almost a 99 percent chance you won't. Mostly everyone on this forum gambles for reasons other than to win money. Yeah thats the immediate goal but it goes beyond winning money. Thats for any degenerate that gambles on sports daily

Sorry to hear that. I know its after the fact but try betting on overs at half time when the first half goes under. Cavs/Rockets were a perfect example of that spot which you want to wait for. 

yep i agree with lakeshow. most gamble here not to really to win money. of course winning is needed to be able to sustain betting but degenerates are still able to come up with money just to be able to bet

some may disagree but i think its true. of course the goal is winning and some are able to do it. but its the rush that most people need and winning of course makes the rush or high far better than the rush you get from losing

If you guys stop and truly think about it for a 2nd its pretty freaken crazy we allow gambling to control our lives really. Every degenerate on this forum can't go a single day without the thought of gambling crossing his mind. Thats pretty freaken scary if you think about it

It's scary (that's for sure) but when you have OCD (like me) you are bound to obsessed with one thing or another. I used to have brilliant thoughts (I'd think of wild, creative stories or make up jokes, or come up with some brilliant ideas) but not lately. 

gambling is a freakiNg  addiction but its the same as the others.. 

You wanna know why gambling is the greatest narcotic ever invented? Because it taps into some of the most primordial emotions we have as human beings. Hope, revenge, redemption and all on a daily basis. Many gamblers go through their entire lives not knowing why they do what they do. Where in life do you get  do-over, again and again. That girl you should have married, that job you never took or didn't get...in life we get one chance, maybe two, and that's it. No do-overs. That's why gambling is better than life. It is (in a sick way) more "fair."

Oh, and I forgot the most important. The illusion of control (something we don't have in life), the possibility of seeing into the future of controlling your future, your destiny!

After 17 years of doing, I would think you know what do do when you are on a losing streak. Take a break and bet smaller instead of chasing all in. When you lose your confidence the losing streak usually continue and it's true for every single one of us. Study the forum carefully and follow some hot cappers here instead of going with your instinct. BOL bro
