How are the HEAT favored tomorrow? Is it simply because its a must win? This team can't come up in these do-or-die moments (Game 6 NBA Finals). I don't understand how they can be favored here. And the sad part is that I'm a HEAT fan

Same reason they were 8 point favorites last game...

People are clueless and think James is untouchable

The Heat CANT LOSE 4 in a row

Lebron James is 0-4 in game 6 when down 3-2

Read your thread and all those stats already. Really mean nothing considering James is the only consistent force on the HEAT. Maybe the worst coach in the NBA can find a way to beat Rivers double teams on Wade and get him some easy baskets. This game will come down to who David Stern wants to win. You'll be able to realize when you see where the 50/50 calls are going as Stafford sent them all Boston's way in Game 5. Ed Malloy tomorrow would be good news for the HEAT. Still don't understand how the HEAT can be favored though, seems like a trap, if those even exist

On paper they are better that's why. When the super computer crunches all the numbers, it comes up with the heat being favored...does that help you?

Why do you want them to be underdogs so you can bet on them with + money?...lol

I don't touch NBA playoffs betting wise, but I do like to look at the lines and dissect them. Just doesn't make sense to me how they can be favored thus why I am asking for a reasonable explanation from someone. Just seems like they want you to take Boston, but I cannot seem to fathom why they'd want that

Whats a bigger story for the NBA...

    Lebron making a finals...

    or

Lebron and the dream team failing again

Bigger news when Lebron fails again

Dude, this is the worst explanation I've heard yet. If the NBA really wanted them to fail they'd want them to fail in the FINALS where they would be much more profitable doing so.

    Its the WWF...I mean NBA

    Have to think Long-term....

Neither of these teams has a chance again Ok City...

Much better long term for the NBA when this Miami team underachieves

Don't mistake westbrooks aggressiveness for weakness

He is not passive aggressive and KD encourages him to continue to put pressure on the defense and not change his game

Just think of what the spurs coach said.....Popovich has been coaching since the mid 1990s....and seen a lot of great teams and champions.....he said that OKC is the hardest team his Spurs team has ever had to defend or 'game plan' for.

    westbrook + harden + durant  =

How much money have people on this site lost by figuring David stern is conspiring to fix the finals matchup... Handicap the damn game not who stern and his cronies want to win.

in last years playoffs , BOS got the series to 2-1 , in the game where Rondo dislocated his elbow , and he was a passenger the rest of that series , and BOS still only just lost G4 in OT .
that killed BOS's momentum and took the stuffing out of them
MIA closed it out in G5 .

this year , BOS were -2.5 in G3 , and won by 10 , then miraculously , the books made MIA -1.5 favs for G4 @ BOS.
Yet the only difference was the series was now 2-1 to MIA , instead of 2-0.

I knew in my heart BOS were in a much better spot this year , Rondo healthy ( Bosh injured ) , and i couldn't for the life of me understand how the books swung the line 4 pts and made MIA favs.
i think BOS were also aware that they were in a better position in this years playoffs heading into G4 , than last year.
And they responded , levelling it at 2-2

game 5 was the key ......BOS showed their true colours , and the belief they have.

And now we head to game 6 , and again MIA is -1.5 fav @ BOS .

is this shit groundhog day ?

How is MIA still -1.5 ?

do the books think MIA will finally be motivated for G6, and that BOS won't be  ?
was there not enough riding on G4 & G5 for MIA ?

i don't usually post very often , cause when i do , it usually ends up resulting in egg on my face, and i somehow end up jinxing my play , but how anyone can rely on MIA in a high pressure game is totally beyond me.

anyone who bets MIA clearly thinks 2 superstars can outplay , out hustle , out smart a veteran team with a championship pedigree .

BOS may fall behind early ( almost a foregone conclusion )  but if they do trail early , and somehow end up hitting the lead in the 4Q , what chance does MIA have of constructing matchwinning plays down the stretch , knowing that failure will mean elimination...

that's the kind of pressure this MIA team is not equipped to handle.

For the millionth time, the books set a price to get equal action on each side.  This price will probably do it.  End of.

The Heat shold NOT be favored.  Vegas has been getting killed on this

So why ARE the Heat favored again after 3 straight up losses to Boston?

I've seen Vegas trickery, but more often than not it's not a trick.  JMO.  I'm on the Heat ML.
