The supposedly fatigued Knicks starters just clowned the phony Pacers 36-18 in the third quarter. Barring a 4th quarter comeback that isn’t going to happen, that’s it for me for awhile.
It wasn’t enough for the Pacers to just get creamed this time as a 65% Covers consensus pick. No, they had to erase an early 11-point deficit and win the first half by ten so I could empty my pockets at halftime for maximum damage and maximum pain.

This is the loss that makes a gambler reevaluate his lot in life. I do apologize for even bringing this possibility up. I'm shocked with this ref crew, in this situation it ended with a solid Knicks win. I lost more than one should and have to hang it up and join my boy AussieDownUnder. Keep killing it Covers bros

only problem is that people said knicks would be warn out and relaxed after philly series and that wasnt the case. they just have a great group of young, determined, and confident players. Roster wise it leaves something to be desired, but they play bigger than what they look. josh hart is a great leader. I think they will be more in tune this game than game 1 actually. what are the stats of a G2 situation where road team off a loss gives up the farm, doesn’t happen yet it did so I’m out

Yes it does.
Not that I needed further evidence that these new legalized sportsbooks cannot be beaten over the long run, but this Pacers-Knicks Game 2 was an exclamation point on that reality. Unfortunately for me and for those like me who bet on sports in the Las Vegas area, the unbeatable technology now being employed against sports bettors is taking over Las Vegas, too, one motherfucking gaming company at a time.

Here in Las Vegas, FanDuel and DraftKings are not available for use via their apps, but the Boyd Group of casinos, which includes the Gold Coast, the Orleans, the Suncoast, Sam's Town, the Fremont, and the California Club, have been using FanDuel's lines since the fake pandemic in 2020 caused the Boyd Group to go cheap on their entire sportsbook operation. The MGM Resorts casinos, which include the Bellagio, Park MGM, the MGM Grand, New York-New York, the Excalibur, the Luxor, and Mandalay Bay all now use BetMGM lines, which are widelty regarded as the worst lines in this entire disgusting industry. The Mirage, until recently part of the MGM Resorts group until they were bought by the Hard Rock last year, are still operating as a BetMGM book until the Hard Rock is ready to present to us their own incredibly shitty menu of betting options.

And don't even get me started about the massive change Stations Casinos instituted last December. The most beatable chain of sportsbooks in Las Vegas (again, for decades) suddenly became the most lethal thanks to the gaming company they hired to supply them with their UNBEATABLE lines. Who do you think suckered me into the Pacers plus 180 yesterday?

Oh, and fucking William Hill, a sportsbook operation now doing business in more Vegas casinos than I care to mention, also employs laughably large straddles, opporessive juice, and unbeatable in-game technology.
The sportsbetting scene in Las Vegas, from the perspective of these gaming companies we all despise, is closing in on becoming as airtight as their table games and slots. That is the ugly truth.

Actually, William Hill has metastasized all over the state of Nevada. The Caesars corporation - you know, the ones using the Manning family along with JB Smoove in their commercials - uses William Hill's lines, so all of those sportsbooks in Vegas have been poisoned, too.

dude thats super interesting ive used boyd for some time now and the last 4 years have been really hard to read and rarely are the any odds worth wild. before i could read and watch cbb and hit parlays like no tomorrow, hit like 6, six teamers in one day watching cbb at the orleans but cant even get close to 1 anymore lol . honestly thought everyone was making there own lines out here.
red rock has that huge team behind the wall at the sportsbook running the numbers, ceasars has something similar was at orientation with a guy that was only doing basketball stats this season for the book at ceasars.
is that why draftkings has a office out here at the uncommons? there feeding the vegas animal based on vegas connections political af lobbyist lobbying.
im baffled to say the lest. i quit after the knicks lost to the 6ers in that playoff game where maxy got fouled on the 3 point line by robinson and it turned out maxy traveled before the foul lol in the 2 min report said travel city on that
