Can someone explain to me, how come these teams play very good on opponents’ homecourt then if in their own homecourts, they can’t even play defense and score??? Worst, losing a must win game! Does NBA or Vegas dictates which team wins and which team loses? As this is what I can see happening in NBA. Well just my 2 cents

It’s is a bizarre thing. Been getting burned all playoffs with home teams laying an egg at home. Can’t figure out how GS can’t make a basket in game 6 at home .. but somehow game 7 in Houston .. Buddy hield of all people shoots like 80% . Adams completely disappeared tonight at home game 7 after dominating last couple games. Really makes you wonder if there is a NBA script to extend these series for maximum TV and gambling revenue. Think I’m done trying to play this NBA guessing game with my hard earned money.

I'll jump in here. First off, in regards to the Rockets, the Warriors were favored to win that series before it started. I know, a 7 seed favored over a 2 right?
In the case of the Rockets, they're just a young team.
I would say that was the case with the Pistons as well. Young team, just happy to be there off their 3 lottery picks.
The Lakers were not even a contender to make the playoffs last year. They got a few guys for free, and all of a sudden people think they're good. Luka is a star, but Lebron is 40 years old and trading AD left a gaping hole in the middle. And JJ Reddick in his first year as a coach, period.
For Cleveland, the Pacers just came in hot, and the Cavs were due for regression that's all. The Pacers handled a very good Milwaukee team last series. I got screwed pretty badly betting against the Bucks a couple times the last month. They're a dangerous team, and the Pacers blew them out multiple times.
Last round, Game 1 home favorites went 4-0 ATS. I just didn't expect it to continue. Boston is giving 10 against the Knicks tomorrow. Line seemed high to to me.
Anyways, that's all.

Good post.
I went against what the line movement and what it meant today. Lost both.
First. Cavs opened at -7.5 closed at -9. After realizing I posted my play too early and seeing the line move the way it did with money about 52/48 splits was asking for a bruising. I hardly ever go with the line movement. Loses about 80 percent of the time in my opinion. After further number crunching. And days between last games for both teams favored pacers ATS. Cavs coming off an easy sweep and a long layoff showed. THIS spot happens a lot in the playoffs and rust will catch a heavily favored team off guard.
Second. I've always hated -2 no matter which team is playing. GS can defend the interior better that pundits think without Kuminga or a big man. Looney was a key player making plays against Houston to neutralize the 2 interior bigs. Looney had more minutes than any other game in the series and it paid off.
Celtics will be in the same situation tomorrow against a Knicks team that hasn't beat them once this season. Boston is susceptible for a letdown and rust. Celtics have lost more games at home than the road this season. Nothing is a lock at home but the playoff brings out the best in teams.
Denver hasn't been a force on a road and OKC as dominant they have win by covering DD sprads is scary. Denver still has the championship pedigree and I would think this will be less than 10 point game. Westbrook 2-0 vs OKC this season as the starter. The main change that has fueled their 2h season comeback. A
Playoffs all about adjustments, but the line said everything today.
