Nuggs/Nets

Question

Initially I was interested in Michael Porter Jr facing his old team and leaned Nets. Now it looks like we may get the return of Gordon and Braun, probably limited minutes but still. I see Cam Thomas is rested like Porter too which is fun. I think this game blows up as both teams are motivated, Denver to get back to the pace they play at and Nets to get a competitive home game against a Western conf team. If I'm Coach Adleman, I suit up everyone I can and try to steal a win as this is an early start and Nuggs go to Philly tomorrow where the coward Embiid will finally suit up against Denver b/c Joker is hurt. If he throws the kitchen sink at Bkn early, then he can rest those guys. On the other side, Porter has got to be up for this game and he has been on a tear. I'd imagine every team that faces Nuggs will want to punk them after years of beatings, similar to teams teeing off on Lakers and old Lebron, no mercy. Anyways, all that being said I'd be shocked if this game stays under this total. Good over ref crew in Kirkland/AMG/Smith. Let's hope the shots fall. 115-115 somebody

Thanks guys and gal. Ever since OKC whipped Phx Dec 10 it seems like Phx has gotten better, especially their team defense. They gone 6-3 since but 2 of those losses were by a bucket each and the other a throw away game ending a long road trip. Meanwhile Thunder are 6-4 since that Dec 10 shellacking and Shea is not getting to the FT line as often. I think Phx being at home and with the defense they are playing right now are in a good spot. They're defending the perimeter and 3 ball really well. This feels like a playoff type of game to me. Low scoring, hard fought.
