I loved to see LeBron lose once again...but it wasn't his fault. Dude
averaged 35.8 points...13.3 rebounds and 8.8 assists against THE BEST
DEFENSIVE TEAM in the NBA. If Irving, Love, and Varejao weren't injured
it would have been an absolutely amazing Finals. Unfortunately they
could only play 7 guys against THE BEST OFFENSIVE TEAM in the NBA and
they ran out of gas in the 4th quarter in every loss. I'll remember
this Finals as being LeBron vs Curry in an incredible duel and LeBron
proving that he is so far ahead of everyone in the NBA from a talent
standpoint that it's not even funny. Andre Iguodala is about 352nd on
that list
In all honesty...that was one of the worst travesties I've ever seen in sports. The MVP should be the first thing you think of when you mention that event. If anyone looks back on this Finals and thinks "Andre Iguodala"...you are Andre Iguodala or his mother. There were two options for this award...James and Curry. That's it.
Overall, one of the best Finals I've seen in a long time. Both teams busted their asses for 7 games...but like I said up above the Cavs just ran out of gas late in games and didn't have a second offensive option to give a break to LeBron
