I suggest that you cut the guy, 187, some slack.
187 went BIG on Alabama, only to lose the bet; doubled~down on Cuz' Magic bet, only to realize that it was unlikely to win.
So, he was faced with a double sting of an original, BIG bet loss.
Wouldn't you be frustrated as hell if you were in that situation?
I agree that 187 was not true to himself by saying that he never doubted Cuz for a sec, as the record shows that 187 expressed a LOT of doubt.
But we all at times lie to ourselves over things, especially painful things.
So, 187 is not a scumbag, neither are you.
The roller coaster emotions of us bettors sometimes get to us, throwing us off the track of emotional equanimity.
Just be happy that you, 187 and others who tailed Cuz won tonight in an improbable, miraculous comeback.
But my point that I made earlier about the probabilities of a losing pick still stands ... the odds of a losing pick looms ever larger now with the winning streak reaching, what, 8 wins, or something like that.
And some of those wins were close calls, narrowly covering the bets. This streak could easily have been a 5~3 track, which is not bad.
Like the tossing of a coin, the return to the mean is inexorable and will hit eventually, so be realistic about the prospects of that happening soon.
