What about the countless losing picks before that. Only toot your horn if it's worth tooting, Scal.

You my friend are a 'faux sharp'.

    Countless losing picks...

    Interesting...

WE ALL have countless losing picks. If we win 54 and LOSE 46, FORTY SIX, we are actually profiting. But I don't expect you to know that.

im a bit worried about wat beginnerboy brings up,dont think for a second miami aint aware of it and now they got sum guns, sum artillery to bring into milwaukee and get off that schnide and tho they are clearly a weak road team they will be gagging to get a solid away win versus a team they know they can hang with after so many failures in other teams buildings......overall talent is pretty much a wash in my view, bucks got a lot of hard-working under-rated dudes so not worried from that point of view...but the fact that carter-williams DID just shoot well probably increases the likelihood he regresses next time out cos we KNOW long term he's just very poor....did you watch, was he hitting long jumpers or did he simply improve his selection to just take more makeable shots??

anyhow im swayed a little by your input here but still a little on the fence....just get that sneaking suspicion one of these days heat will be pissed about being so gutless away from home and put out a signature performance..who knows if its here??

Sam Smith is everything the Academy loves...a guy who looks different, sounds different and has a different sexual orientation...they embrace that. Plus the guy can really sing. It was a no brainer.

Listen, it's a TOUGH game to pick but I thought this line was going to open at -2.5 Bucks. But +1.5 Heat? Wow. Absolutely NO respect by Vegas and all the squares will follow en masse.

Miami has the guns no doubt. And no I can't predict whether MCW will regress. But he has Kidd as a coach and he finally lead this team. That can only be more of a positive than a negative.

Like the Harvard game, I see this game coming down to the wire but we are home dogs here which makes me far more comfortable.

He was a selfish player that looked for his own. The Bucks are losing because of their bench, not Knight. He's a player whos weaknesses are being exposed on the Suns. The Bucks bench has gone from the best to the worst after the break. And without a healthy OJ Mayo or Dudleys shooting I dont see them starting to put together wins anytime soon.

The Bucks are definitely losing because of Knight's absence, despite his bad qualities. He was their leaders and he's replaced with a guy that let his team lose 26 in a row.

But your point about the bench is well-taken. That has been an issue in the Bucks failures.

It is the issue. The Bucks have no floor spacing at the moment besides K money. Brandon Knight was like I said vastly overrated. His +\- numbers were negative. And the bucks starting 5 is outscoring opponents by 6.9 per 100 posessions with MCW. That number wasnt close with Knight. The Bucks new defense from their starting 5 is the reason. Although MCW doesnt have Knights shooting he makes up for it with length, vision, and defense. The Bucks backups are horrendous led by Bayless Ennis and Henson. Once OJ and Duds get healthy that problem will be fixed. The Bucks starting 5 including MCW is doing their job..

And I want to say something about their last three losses:

    These were EXTREMELY tough spots.

They were against the Spurs at home, Nets on the road and Cavs at home.

The Spurs? Basically a game they can't win. That was the game right after the Spurs had possibly the worst loss in the entire Pop/Duncan tenure against the Knicks. They could have played the 96 Bulls and won the night they played the Bucks Pop was so pist off. A wasted home game.

Then they go on the road and play against a team that has every reason to beat them: fighting for their playoff lives and revenge against their ex coach and revenge after a triple OT loss at home the last game. And they had a lead of 12! in that game and JJ needed a huge 3 in OT to extend that one. Just the the fact that game went to triple OT impresses me greatly.

Then they come home again for some relief...and they get the CAVS yet another wasted home game where they have little shot of winning, and they still dominated the first half.

Now finally, they stay on their home court to regroup, no zig zag travel and play a bad road team coming in with the Heat.

Yes the Heat have guns but the Bucks hold all the tiebreakers against this team.

The Celtics win last night actually heightens the need for the heat to win tomorrow not tonight, against a teams of bangers who can really wear them down tonight (possibly prompting Spo not to exert his players too much if somehow the Bucks get a nice lead in the second half) and then the Heat will be in danger of losing not two but three in a row after the complete laydown vs. OKC.

Nobody is saying your points aren't legitimate. All I'm saying is that if Knight is still the PG, the Bucks are nowhere near the trouble they are in now.

    Nice write up Scal.

May the Greek Alphabet bring you to the promised land.

I think the fact that the bucks have lost 6 in a row negates the triple revenge factor. Just betting on them to finally win is a good angle...
