I took the Patriots because even though it appears the Pats will lay down, I believe Belichick is incapable of a true laydown. He's made his reputation on winning with lots of spare parts, so I expect even unfamiliar names to make plays today. Plus, the Texans, it seems, have never won a truly big game in their history, at least not at home, and this would have to be considered the biggest of all.
Tom Brady back into the action!

The Ravens are very tempting as the Raiders have a long history of throwing in the towel in their final home game as a big "eff you" to their fans for a long season of booing them relentlessly. It's tough for me to lay any road favorite, though, but I might do this one for a medium play.

Yikes. I loaded up on the Chiefs +10.5 last night and took a little more at +10 this morning. I'm going to stick with them, though.

Yup, I'm skipping this one. Concentrating on the Eagles and the Chiefs.

Actually, I was very happy to see the Patriots lose. All I had on the moneyline was a measly dime thanks to the scared-as-shit folks at the Venetian. I got shutout online trying to get two more dimes at +290. At halftime, I got three dimes down on the Texans -6 -110 (only because it was a fantastic number). This game is the one game that finished perfectly for me today. Josh Freeman was a massive disappointment down in Florida.

still gotta say it----one great pick on NE (screwed up earlier and said Texans). You knew Belichek KNOWS winning the Super Bowl is ALL about heading into the playoffs playing great, momentum, and beating the crap out of every opponent----unlike "whats-his-name" at Indianapolis. Brady and crew seem to know the formula for winning the big one.
Are you going against the Colts in their 1st playoff game?

Way too early to tell. Right now I'm beginning preparations to get destroyed for the fourth time this week by betting the under in yet another Lakers game.
