I was in your shoes several years ago.
I took a flight to London to place a bet on Barack Obama to win the US Elections - you can see a proof of that incl. photos of the betting slips here:

Although I won "only" $10,000 - I did stop for a while with betting but after several months it came back to me and it hit me pretty hard, I lost much more than I won.
Please CHERISH these words, CHERISH these moments of you having the upper hand - make sure you won't do this again, and make sure you would avoid gambling.
You need to RUN now, don't bet again, not even a small bet - just GO - learn from my story, don't repeat what I had gone through.

I mean I can't support someone who doesn't have bank roll management. THe guy lucked out tonight and doesn't deserve all this useless praise because he gambled and won an under bet. Thread is way to attention seeking for me. I am not happy for the guy or mad at the guy I just think this kind of thread is for posters who starve for attention instead of trying to cap games.

Not going to be specific about my age, but I saw Rod Carew play in person.
I know I got lucky. I have no intention of gambling. Going to hand over the finances to the Mrs.
Leaving this game once and for all.
For all those people who asked me what I would've played had I done so on Wednesday, I would've taken the Over 8 in the A's/Astros game. Kuchel can't be this hot all year and A's need a breakout game.

Oh by the way, IF I had made a bet today (ya know, less than 24 hours after I said I wouldn't be gambling agin) I would have taken the A's/Stros over 8.
Come on man. It takes a bit more than betting your roll and winning to be able to quit.
If you value your family ABOVE ALL ELSE, you can quit.
If you do not, you will be back at the sportsbook.
Remember that when the urge rears its ugly head again.

i've seen so many posts from people like yourself who are "recovered" or are morally above betting etc now.
And I have one question, if that is the case, why are u on a betting site, if you've kicked it, are out of the "mugs" game, then why are u here at all ? You should be posting on rehab sites or surely you have a new hobby now
and as for the OP, his last few posts indicate this is all a sham as I thought.
