Did you see kobe's scowl back in the 2nd half with clippers. Before 2nd half started kobe was sitting on the bench by himself with that game face. He completed dominated 2nd half however when he was on the bench the team faltered. Remember artest said last year brandon roy was the best player he played against? Roy been playing 40+ minutes like crazy. Bynum without gasol is a man on a mission. Portland got no more bigs. enuff said. Clippers ended a streak not winning against lakers. Lakers will end a streak of not winning in portland.

That's all fine and dandy, but this is a different year, different rosters and different circumstances. Hey, good luck! I will be shocked if the Lakers lose to this banged up Portland team! At full strength, yes Portland can win outright, but with all these injuries I just don't see it!

(Oden & Andre Miller).  Their 3 best bench players(Outlaw,Fernandez and Przybilla are out) and Their 2 best players Brandon roy(hamstring) and Aldridge(ankle) are nursing injuries and are not 100%! This team is so banged up that they only played 7 players in their last game vs. Memphis and Pendergraph is not even NBA material he's just playing because Portland had to call him up from the D-league because of the injuries! This trend comes to an end tonight! Lakers Roll!

This team is so banged up that they only played 7 players in their last game vs. Memphis and Pendergraph is not even NBA material he's just playing because Portland had to call him up from the D-league because of the injuries! This trend comes to an end tonight! Lakers Roll!

Roy been playing 40+ minutes like crazy. Bynum without gasol is a man on a mission. Portland got no more bigs. enuff said. Clippers ended a streak not winning against lakers. Lakers will end a streak of not winning in portland.

When Kobe re-entered the game in the fourth quarter on Wednesday night against the Clippers, the Lakers were down by four points.  So to say the L.A. bench is at fault I don't think is an accurate characterization.

Well looking at the boxscore you could definitely valid your point. Derek fisher/sasha on the court lakers were -15 respectively. Kobe was also -15. Artest doesn't have much wear and tear and should have the job covering roy for the first 3 quarters. Portland had their strong stretch winning games while missing players. The problem usually arise when players come back after 2-3 games trying to get back into TEAM rhythm. Lakers had played 3 games in 4th nights. However 4 out of their last 4 games have been played in california so travel should not be an issue. Addition to reports all year of andre miller not being happy and mounting injuries I wouldn't be suprised at all with portland being blown out.

If Miller is out, then sadly I'm out too.  I'm not banking on Bayless to pour out another 31.
