Very good point, but it is possible to be discipline. It is hard but possible. If you look at this as a business, then being disciplined is easy. You cannot go toe to toe with VEGAS, its all about picking spots, seeing weak lines, when you are profitable, I think thats the action for profitable gamblers.

have to disagree with you on most of this... We all do love action, BUT there is a difference between a lot of sports bettors in here. Discipline is a big component too, even if we all love action, some people go maniac style and will chase a lot. We all may chase but some people go bonkers, some people get really upset after they lose while some are a bit more patient and less emotional... I used to chase wayyyy more when i was betting a lot at like 21/22..

that was an honest post that probably hits home with a lot of people on this site. the money managment aspect of this "game" is key. whether youre betting $20 or $100 a game, you need to keep things relevant to your budget.
when i keep a set amount and bet it every time, i usually come out on top and i dont dig myself a hole. it always helps tailing great cappers also.
