I have 69% of the public on the hornets, Raptors went from -7.5 to -8, most of the public is on hornets, but most of the money is on raptors. The %'s we see are base on the # of bets placed, but the line moves based on the amount of money placed on that side. A simple way to explain what we're doing is we're following the money, not the public perception. Unfortunately, if someone bets a million dollars on Raptors -7.5, that will move the line to -8. So we're always a step behind and we're just hoping there's enough room in the cover to cover our line too. Of course the guy betting a million dollars isn't always correct, but we have to take the wins with the losses. Luckily we've been on a hot streak. It can't and won't last forever, but why not ride it while it does. BOL

At the moment, you're absolutely right. But I've been watching it all day, earlier today 70% were on Portland, then I saw it at 50 something and It continued moving down. The averages have caught up to to them, but to ME it looks like a lot of money were on them early. Sometimes big money comes in right before game time, sometimes they buy the number they like when they see it. I could be wrong, I mean really, who knows who bets what, when. it's a guessing game and I just try to make the best educated guess I can.

 That's also why i noted the cavs under and Raptors. you guys can keep and eye on it for yourselves and see if money comes in right before the game, without having to fall back on my advice. Those were just a heads up. Seems like a lot to take in...Am I making sense?

i'm sure you're sick of all the questions....i don't see how blazers fit...opened at -6.5 warriors now -7.5 with 62% on warriors. pistons seem like a play bucks open at -6 now -5 with 67% on bucks

I can see how you might not like portland as a RLM, because the %'s have been all over today. But Lakers lines and %'s have been supporting RLM all day!

 If you watch lines all day, you'll see that sometimes half of the games have RLM written all over it. But, you kinda have to pick and choose which ones you want to play. Sometimes they're really obvious, like the bulls tonight, sometimes they're not. But like I said before, you have to remember we're a step behind all the time. We bet on line moves to follow that winners that actually  MAKE the lines move. For instance, some people made out like bandits taking the bulls +5.5, we follow them, but only get bulls +4.5.
