I have watched about six innings of baseball today. In the White Sox game with the bases loaded and two outs a White Sox player thinking the line drive was caught by the third baseman did not hustle out of the box and he was caught by a half step at first base in a very close game to end the inning.
Just now in the 6th in a tie game the braves lead off hitter hit the ball to left field. Thinking it's a home run he admires it and cost himself a triple instead getting only a double in a tie game which is also an elimination game. If you're not hustling in that spot when exactly are you hustling? I assume he's going to get left on base to end the inning and he very much deserves it.
