Why are Brewers only -1100 to win series up 3-0?

Dodgers would literally need to do something never done before in MLB history, come back from 3-0

why are these odds so low?

shouldn’t it be more like -5000?

Dodgers have shown they can’t win 2 in a row against these brewers and now they have to win 4 in a row?

Yankees were up 3-0 on the Red Soxs in 04 and loss. So it literally has happened before. 

Boston Red Sox had done it before and the only one to do so in 2004 vs the Nyy just like post #2 said.

The Dodgers are tired from all there years of playoff success. Milwaukee is younger and hungrier- it'll be a sweep! Momentum is real-

only the rich can lay -1100 and make a profit yes i agree brewers will most likely win  series but the average gambler will never bet on a line like this unless they take the dog

 It is math with a built-in edge for the books.

If you assume for easy math LAD -150 to win each of the next two games it works out to about (.6x.6) or 36% to make the series 2-3 at that point.

Then it would factor in implied odds going forward, etc.

If you assume LAD 60% in each of the next four games it would be around +670.

If you assume 60% in next two games and 50% in the following two games it would be around +1000

If you assume 60% in next two games and 45% in the following two games it would be around +1300.

So, that is why a lot of books are actually pricing it at only +800 or so.

Etc., etc.

Dodgers are favored here with Glasnow in Game 4 at -150 odds

Will they be favored in Game 5 with Skubal at home?

Will they be favored in Game 6 with Yamamoto in Milwaukee?

 To say Freeman sucks is a joke. One of best 1st baseman to ever play.  Your others may be spot on but Freeman is a stud.  Hate the dodgers much ? They suck so bad just back to back champs.  Nobody going to win every year. Brewers are a great team.

 And that is a very fair statement and true but to say they all suck is not true!  They are definitely struggling at the wrong  time but if Dodgers players suck that means everyone in baseball sucks except the brewers ? Just a dumb comment from guy up above
