I don't need to bet online............. I am in the mecca of gambling and out here they don't allow things that are done online...........but we get paid as soon as the game is over and you don't have to worry about getting your money out of your account.....................but my argument means that you can actually take both teams yankes -rl +140 and ranger -rl +180 that is crazy.......

I have never seen one team getting a run and ahalf at one casino and and that same team giving a run and ahalf at another.............I been betting longer than you I promise..........like I said usually the same team is always getting a run and half everywhere out here unless you take the reverse runline and you cannot do that in Las Vegas
Fair enough but trust me, you are not going to be able to get a good middle by taking Rangers -1.5 and +1.5. You would be getting -160 and +180. By setting up each bet to payout the same amount, you would be laying -3600 against a Rangers win by 1. In other words, not good.

I am tempted to take both the rangers -1.5 +180 and the yankees -1.5 +140 how can you lose.............(I know how but I am just saying) I don't see this being a one run game........oh well it seems like a great idea

You can do this in EVERY SINGLE PK EM GAME. Do you think the books are letting you pull a past one on them?
Let me put this in an easier way to understand using actual numbers.
Lets say you wanted to bet Yankees -1.5 +140 and Rangers -1.5 +180 to win the same amount.
-You put 100 on the Yankees RL. 100-140. -You put 85 on the Rangers RL. 85-153.
If either team covers the RL, you win $55, but you are in for $185. So pretty much you are laying $185-55 that a team DOESN'T win by one run. This is costing you -335 to do.
So the question you have to ask yourself is...
Would you lay -335 that this ISN'T a one run game? Because that is what you would be doing by taking the +140 and +180 RL's. If your answer is yes then go ahead. But it shouldn't.

165 the vibe i'm getting for some reason is that nobody really thinks the yankees have a shot to win both games 6 and 7. everybody's seen texas dominate a vast majority of the innings in the series, and believe that tomorrow is completely irrelevant-"if it reaches game 7 it means jack shit because cliff lee will just shut them down again," that sort of approach. What this tells me is that the winner of tomorrow's game wins the series, if hughes can keep it together and not allow more than 3 or 4 runs the yankees should win facing lewis for the second time in a week. IF the yankees win game 6, texas and cliff lee will be a ridiculously popular favorite in game 7. everyone will just happen to forget that lee sucked balls in arlington all year, and everyone will have a very short memory. i'm not playing tomorrow's game as I have a +500 yankee series bet pending for shits and giggles, but I truthfully think if the Yankees can win tomorrow game 7 with Andy on the mound will provide much more NY value than it will on the Texas side.
The Rangers have had the Yankees' former sports psychologist working for them this year, and it clearly paid off in the Texas series. Tomorrow night is the next big night for the Rangers' mental approach to be make or break, if they can't get it done at home after a day to cool off, I sincerely believe they will enter complete and total panic mode going into game 7. Very likely that if the Yankees win tomorrow, they will chase Colby relatively early and the bullpen willl have to log some innings, and will just set up an IDEAL situation where Texas will rely on Cliff Lee to comfortably provide at the very least 7 solid innings, and everybody will believe he'll do so without a problem. The more and more i look at this series and the public perception, the more and more i believe the yankees will win the next two games.
It's late and I'm rambling, but bottom line I think that whoever wins tomorrow wins the series, plain and simple.

I follow and respect 165's posts...but inregards to the yankees I think they are playing with no emotion or chemistry.Texas is playing with emotion and really playing well.I love there chances to win the series from here and I will bet them tommorow and if they lose bet them back in game seven.

I don't need to bet online............. I am in the mecca of gambling
Yeah, I live in this "mecca", too. Mecca only means that this is a place (Las Vegas) that people want to visit. It doesn't mean that this is the best place to gamble, and it SURE AS HELL isn't the best place to bet on sports! The reason you can't find alternate runlines in baseball during the regular season is because the sportsbooks in Nevada are lazy and unimaginitive. They want nothing to do with bettors who display any sophistication.
Do you really enjoy laying full juice at all times in this mecca of gambling? I prefer laying hardly any online.

ATL -1.5 -Gladly fade a flaky team on the road with a defense that has a lot of issues playing back to back. ATL was in a tough spot last game coming home after the trip but should be fine tonight.
Wild may be a good value play. Nucks playing 4 in 6 and coming off a tough shootout loss where they played very well vs the champs. Will they have any energy tonight, I may pay to find out. I'm sure many will make the mistake of talking about revenge 2 weeks into the year when talking about this game.
Calgary- hope they don't turn into a hip dog. I hope most will be scared off the back to back. Looks like a coinflip game getting +$.
These are my thoughts on the NHL and what I like.
Great flat spot for the Canucks IMO. There can be revenge despite the schedule spot but for that it needs to be back to back and there has to be a history of bad blood between the teams. Washington and Boston had this scenario last night and the Caps played like it as they badly outskated Boston up and down the ice from the puck drop and played with a super high intensity rate, much higher than that of the game before. This was further displayed by Boudreau calling timeouts in the middle of the game and peeling paint of the Caps players helmets as he charged up and down the bench with the cameras on him. Tim Thomas won the game for Boston period as he was beyond incredible. They were outplayed all over the ice by a Caps team that was yes very highly motivated to beat them partly due to the loss the previous game and due to their being bad blood between the teams. Fights and grudges from the previous game get carried over in hockey in a back to back and that I can promise you from having played at a high level for years. Other sports do not have this issue to deal with and therefore the situation never occurs. In hockey your not only getting beaten but also beaten up which is very different than any scenario any other sport can offer on a quick turnaround. Neither scenario holds true for tonight and there is no reason to expect anything gritty from Vancouver like Washington tried to show last night against a much tougher Boston team with a goalie who simply refused to allow a goal despite his team being outplayed.
There is a reason that back to backs in hockey split 1 for each team at a very hight rate no matter the disparity of the two teams. It is not just a coincidence. The culture of hockey is unlike other sports, and hockey players certainly reside on another universe far from NBA, MLB and NFL players IMO.
A 27 year old European goaltender having never played an NHL game starting for Calgary should scare enough people off of them and create a decent betting situation for them. Last I heard he (Name Karlson) was going to start. Have to see how the day unfolds on that one. Calgary plays some great hockey on the road.
I like all the plays and BOL tonight sir....

P.S I should have clarified I do feel Vancouver wins however certainly with the probabilites of outcome weighed in all the value sits with Minnesota. I have been super hot in baseball but am actually lost on tonights game. I am Intrigued that you are on the Yanks..Again goodluck..

Rangers win tonight. Yankees already looking ahead to Saturday against Lee. Colby may struggle at times but as long as he can get five solid innings I like Texas' chances. Their bats haven't cooled at all, maybe only two runs in Game 5 but 13 hits (11 off of Sabathia).

The funny thing is the Vegas casinos don't like losing money so the bookmakers always inflate the lines......but when you are gambling online it is just so easy to cash out isn't it? I would be willing to fly to Costa Rica to collect my 100 dollars.... I am not saying it is the best to bet sports..... I was just making a pt.......I still think the books that have rangers r/l +180 is begging for rangers money anyway
BTW did anyone know the Giants/Pats superbowl a few years back buried alot of sports gambling entities......up north in tahoe there was a book that had to close up shop because of the amount of money they lost..........I thought this was a good story

The best news for NYY backers is the fact they are a slight fav. I was worried they would make them a small dog which would've meant trouble. Whenever they have been a dog which is only 21 times this year including postseason they are 7-14 and are sucker bets. Hughes coming off a bad start vs a pitcher that just beat him and at home getting ready to close this series out and the Yanks are still a fav? I'm not sure if the Yanks are square and don't care, what but I do know they get the W someway somehow. Colby has pitched well but this spot may be to big for him to handle, a 30 yr old who's having his first good year ever. Would you be surprised to see him back in the bullpen next year? I have no confidence in him shutting down the defending champs. I may lose but will glady take my chances here. Yanks fight to see game 7. Give me Yanks -110 to win 2 units.
